It wasn't till I saw the picture of the guy that I realized I was actually thinking of "Dude, you're getting a Dell" guy.

Uber doesn't let people with a felony records drive fo...... well I mean if they actually did background checks uber wouldn't let people a felony record drive for them.

Dude from Dell didn't get a felony for buying pot. But man the fact that I had to look that up says a lot about criminal justice in America.

Yeah, I realized after posting that what he actually went to jail for. I was thinking it was harder drugs not just pot. By the time I realized it I decided to just leave the post anyway. I was really just trying to poke fun at the fact that uber doesn't do background checks.

What AOL stock? He was a paid for a voice gig. Work for hire.

It's not like they promised him a share of the company. And, even if he were, he'd have cashed out long ago in one of the buyout/mergers...

according to the article he got the job because his wife worked for the company that turned into AOL. So if there was any stock during that time he would have his wife's stock. So I guess you could call that his in a way. What is hers is his and vice versa right?

I'm guessing AOL isn't paying him well... or at all...

Now making $3 an hour once you factor in business costs. Job market must be tough for this guy.
