Seasonic 760w Plat PS $80 w/promo+MIR

A little more isn't horrible but PSU tend to be more efficient if run around 60% than if around 35%. Anyways my 760 sesonic gold is ony 5 years old; I can probably wait a year or four to upgrade it with something smaller.
[In case you are wondering why I have a 760 watt psu and only need a 550; the psu is the same but the equipment it drives has changed; isn't technology great - 2x faster and 1/2 the power)]

Getting a little more than you need is not a bad thing. I bought one that I didn't even need at all :shame:

My main rig has a Coolermaster 700w PSU from 2009 in it. It hasn't had any problems, but it's pretty old now. Considering how a bad PSU can ruin all your components, I don't want to keep rolling the dice with my current old cheap PSU. I bit on this deal. I was looking for an efficiency graph for this 760w PSU, but couldn't find one.
