Heard of the SMACH Z? It's the new handheld that is featuring the ability to play some of your Steam library. I suppose that it will stream the rest of the games via WiFi to the device. Anyway the tasty bits about it are in the APU inside the thing! The 12w - 15w little engine that could. Figured that since we're all just waiting for Zen at this point; might as well have something different to talk about!

First of all let me link the thread from the video card section.

What do you think?

So do you think that this is AMD's other design win and the Nintendo NX will be using a NVidia SOC?

I saw an AMD ad and it listed all the consoles they were proud to be involved with. Nintendo wasn't one of them. And neither was this device. So maybe they are waiting for the NDA on console announcements is up before claiming them.

I heard that Nvidia is basically giving Nintendo the Tegra chips for free to get a name in the living room. So I'm leaning towards them winning that device.

35 watts in a handheld... this is gonna be gamegear round two. Also to the NX discussion, I dissent on the idea that nvidia is in that thing.

I really don't care either way if its AMD or NVidia, im interested more in base station function getting a little to old to walking around with a gameboy ;-) as long as its competitive and it brings Nintendo back into the game
