I called EVGA and gave them the serial number of my P2 650 watt power supply. They told me that the internals were from Super Flower. Now I have never heard of them but wanted to ask you guys, are they a good company with reputable PSU parts? I thought about getting a SeaSonic Prime 650 but honestly, this EVGA is really good and quiet and I love the build quality on this thing.

What do you guys think about Super Flower?

Surprise: Superflower as an OEM is better than Seasonic. Shocking to the those still new to PSUs, I know.

Supwer Flower and Seasonic for all intents and purposes are on the same tier.

You are lucky to have Super Flower or Seasonic as the OEM. EVGA doesnt produce the PSU, I dont know if they even design it. Many companies just rebrand the OEMs. My Rosewill Capstone is a rebrand Super Flower as well. Not a single problem for the past several years.

While the basic platform would be the same, minor things can and are changed, such as cables, connectors, exterior construction, and to a limited degree, internal components like selection of capacitors.

The P2 and T2 line eVGA units are some of the best power supplies you can buy today. I have a 1200P2 in one of my gaming rigs and it has been flawless. Check the reviews on jonnyguru, newegg and amazon and you will find they are consistently rated amongst the best.
