Humble Company of Heroes 10th Anniversary Bundle (pay what you want and help charity)

$1 Gets you Company of Heroes 1 and the 2 expansions. Great for those who have the old box versions and want to consolidate on Steam without disc swapping and patching.

$5 Gets you CoH1+2 Xpacs, and Company of Heroes 2 with a few mission packs

$10 Gets you what seems to be pretty much everything CoH 1 and 2.

CoH1 was a classic RTS that was one of the first games to really wow me in the DX9 era graphically. Still holds up pretty well today!

I love coh2 except for all the nickel and dime dlc. But if your patient and wait for a steam sale you can get the dlc hella cheap. This is definitely worth buying.
Just FYI NO SLI OR CROSSFIRE SUPPORT.

Still one of my favorite RTS series. Play them all, hours of entertainment.

I want to buy everything, but the heavy focus on multiplayer is turning me off. Guess I got some time...

Just play campaign, theater of war and skirmish. Multiplayer has no anticheat, its overrun with modders, hackers, and cheaters, stay away from the multiplayer cancer!

Interesting...are those three modes alone worth it then? Also, is it possible to get all of the achievements without playing multiplayer? I'm okay if there are, but only if their easily obtaining like play xx number of matches, etc. I've become an achievement whore in my old age :(.

I don't even think I have any of my original discs. I mean, for $10, why not?? This would be a fun game to throw on our monthly lan parties I have at my house.

How's the multiplayer going? Are there still plenty of matches available?

Great deal but I don't have the time or attention span to teach myself these games as I did when I was a kid. I was looking at COH2 yesterday in my Steam queue and realized that I'd never play it due to the learning curve so I hid it in a list so I don't feel remorse every time I see it.

You can definitely set the settings to easy and work your way from there. Easy mode as a beginner only has a slight challenge to it. Within a few matches, you'll probably want to bump it up to normal.

I haven't had the time to play through COH2 campaign even though I've owned it since it came out, but COH1 campaign is epic and well worth the $10 bucks alone if you haven't played it yet.

I have played the first one multiple times, and I agree with you. Also, for those wondering, there is a mod for COH1 that lets you scrimmage with modern day military equipment. Check it out: Modern Combat

I'm so on the fence about COH2 because reviews and opinions are all over the reservation.
