I game at night cause of my shift is there a silent mouse thats worth buying. I see reviews for lots of mice but have no idea. Does anyone own or recommend a silent mouse?

Thanks

Can't say that I've seen or (not) heard a "silent" mouse. I assume you are referring to the mouse clicks. All of the mice that I've used have made noise when clicking. Although not as much as the keyboard, even the quieter ones.

Somehow I don't think a membrane switch mouse would hold up very well.

I suppose you could always mode a mouse with some Cherry silent switches IF the mouse has enough room inside for keyboard switches.

There are touch mice available so there is no mechanical noise at all from the button switches but you give up all tactile feedback for button presses.

I bought a "silent" gaming wireless mouse off Amazon. Both the main left/right buttons are virtually silent, however the side and wheel buttons still make a noticeable click.

Its not a bad mouse just lightweight and kind of flimsy. Works ok for everything except fps shooters and is great to have when someone is trying to sleep in the same room. There are tons of different versions of this mouse out there.

Oh cool thanks killerxp. i bought one junky one from china and i might get the one above and see how they perform. The games i play use the main buttons alot so not to worried about extra buttons.

Hello guys, Logitech just launched it's first Silent Mice: M330 and M220. Have a look on Logitech website or on Amazon.

Nexus made a few silent mice several years ago, but they were poorly recieved. There's also the JSCO JNL-101K if you decide against the new Logitech mice. If you have an extra mouse just kicking around, you can also try your hand at modifying the microswitches yourself.
