Backstory:
Purchased this card from newegg on 6/21/2016. My research at the time showed that this was the best GTX 1080 around due to the higher than average clocks so I jumped on it. I tried using the Asus GPU tweak software to put the card in "OC" mode (OC Mode: Core Clock 1784 MHz, Boost Clock 1936 MHz) and I had some instability with the heaven benchmark. I've never really overclocked a GPU before so after a while I gave up and changed it back to "gaming" mode (Gaming Mode: Core 1759 MHz, Boost 1898 MHz)

I've had ZERO problems with the card in Gaming mode in benchmark software and with high-end games (Witcher 3, Doom, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc). The RGBs are really nice and the card is the quietest video card I've ever had (certainly quieter than the evga GTX 980 and GTX 980ti classified I have ran is previous years).

I'm selling because I'm a 39 year old pharmacist with a family and I'm busy. I can only play a limited number of games per year and I've pretty much maxed out my time for now. I'd rather sell the card than have it sit for too long. You can see in my heat I resell my cards regularly.

Asus GPU Tweak (and GPU Tweak II) are really bad. Lots of bugs coming and going in various versions. You can use MSI Afterburner on other brand cards and that's usually best, although if there are any custom settings for Asus they won't work in AB.

With that said, best of luck selling a great card! :)
