Does anyone know if the discounts at Microcenter for memory and motherboard can be "stacked"? For example you get $30 off a mobo if you buy it with a CPU, but they also have a deals where you get $5-20 off memory if you buy it with a mobo. Do these both apply at the same time?

Yes, they can be stacked, but you are aware these discounts are for in store purchase only

Thanks. Yeah I have a store near me I was just wondering since I wouldn't be buying anything until a few weeks from now and will be ordering some other stuff online before that (like a heatsink since Microcenter's selection of those seems pretty bad)

Just FYI, Frys will price-match the Microcenter combos. You can add to your cart on the website as if you were shopping for a local pickup, and since the discounts are reflected in the cart Frys will price match them. Saved me a trip - the Frys is 3 minutes away from me, the Microcenter 35 minutes.

Thanks and hopefully that tip will save someone else the trip, but the nearest Microcenter to me is 20-25 minutes away and the nearest Frys is 6 hours away.

The online cart is actually why I was asking the question too. When I added a CPU, mobo, and memory to the cart it only gave me a discount on the mobo and not the memory (even though that memory was specifically in their "bundle" section). It was only $10 either way so it's not a huge difference, but I was just curious. The real big savings are just from how cheap their CPUs are in the first place compared to everywhere else.

The store I went to in NYC they were literally advertising the open box as part of the deal with signs around the shelf and everything.
