Issue with BF4

Windows 8 64 bit

This happened right after I reformatted my hdd and installed windows. Before that I had no issues

am I missing an update or plug in?

Change it from windowed to either fullscreen or borderless windowed. It should be under graphics/video settings.

you get performance that way. Anyway, Im used to it lol

but that didnt change anything. I see that those lines in full screen and borderless

If you're talking about the battlefield 4 boarder and windows bar, that indicates that you are playing in windowed mode.
 
Guys...

He's talking about the stepladdering going on with the shadows and textures.
 
Explain exactly what your issue is. The image is compressed so am not sure what the issue is.
