Apparently I'm not the only person that totally forgot there was a free-to-play Halo Online game in Russia. If social media posts are to be believed, it would seem that Microsoft has totally forgotten about the game as well.

It was a game that seemed to mimic Activision’s partnership with Tencent to develop Call of Duty Online for China. In both cases, the developers took a globally popular IP and adapted its gameplay and publishing format for a foreign market. However, according to a member of the development team going by Fogeyman, Microsoft had “failed to [make] decisions on the future of the project” for the last six months.

This makes me sad as I was hoping it would make it's way all over and I'd get to play it. More so it would become something to play on lunch time with co-workers. However it was back when the Halo universe made much more sense and was more appealing.

Well they have to protect their baby. Halo is the only reason people ever bought an Xbox.

Saber Interactive, sigh, is a cancer to anything it touches. They should stick to their own mediocre IP.

Looks like Saber Interactive is involved with the new Quake game also. I've never heard of them, whats so bad about them?

Sabre interactive = canned gaming. That they are involved with Quake Champions is a warning flag; too bad as well, as I had high hopes for Q:C after the humdrum MP with Doom. I actually thought it was by design; let the Doom MP kinda suck because Q:C was announced on the heels of the Doom release. Maybe they are just making coffee for the Id team....
