First impressions: games and videos are absolutely awesome and a big improvement in immersiveness. The semi-gloss is also better. Productivity and competitiveness in games is lower, since it's less efficient to manage the huge screen (but if I valued high competitiveness I'd use an old CRT or 144Hz LCD, not anything 60Hz).
 
Would be nice if these units supported strobing instead of FSINK.
 
Nice write up. I really liked the details of the hardware used too. People will find this very useful I think.
 
I have this monitor too. I really like it, but have relegated it to my couch monitor as I was straining my neck too much looking from side to side (went back to using a Dell 3415W). I think it if my desk setup was a bit better I wouldn't have had the problem.

Do you think this uses the same panel as what goes in the Dell?
 
Do these models support freesync over HDMI or is it DP only? Trying to figure out if it will support freesync over HDMI with Xbox one x.

from my understanding if the HDMI support 2.0 and up, it would support the freesync at 60fps. Would like to know more as well since I'm looking for 4k Freesync over 40+" tv/monitor.
