SOLD:
R9 290 w/reference cooler
Bought as a bare card without cooler and flashed with 390 BIOS. Put a reference cooler on it, but runs really loud and hot so selling as bare card (you'll want to replace cooler). - UPDATE - figured out the noise\temp problem, the bracket is for MSI Open air cooler so smaller vents. Replaced with it reference bracket and now card runs around 75-85c at 50% fan profile (the 390 BIOS previous owner installed runs fans around 70% fan speed so will need to create own fan profile (suggest using frame limiter or vsync to keep temps down) or replace BIOS with 290 stock if not replacing stock cooler. I would do it myself, but not sure what exact BIOS is correct for this card (Hynix memory))
