Here’s your semi-official look at the Galaxy Note 7 and which colors it’ll be available in. The lack of a flat model is very disappointing, but this should be right up your alley if you are an Edge fan.

Samsung is yet to announce its next Galaxy Note smartphone, but almost all the information about the device has leaked already. Now, the design of the Galaxy Note 7 has leaked in a fresh set of press renders. Serial smartphone leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has tweeted an image that shows the Galaxy Note 7 in all its color variants – Black Onyx, Blue Coral, and Silver Titanium – along with the presence of what looks like an iris scanner and a curved display. The image also pretty much confirms that the next Galaxy Note would be named Galaxy Note 7.

Wow that's terrible. I have been milking my old Note 2 for so long, they practically had a guaranteed sale from me for a Note 7. All they had to do was not make apple-style hipster-approved design decisions, like making the curved screen mandatory...

I love me Note 4...I hope that Samsung learned from the Note 5 fiasco, and brings back a removable battery and MicroSD storage...(the latter is more or less confirmed, but we don't know about the battery).

I would prefer a removable battery, but it is not a deal breaker on it's own. A flat screen, and an SD slot are must haves for me though. Looks like I will end up skipping the Note 7 as well due to the, useless and annoying to me, edge screen.

I get the storage hold outs, I can kinda understand the removable battery holdouts (for things like hard resets at least), but I'll never understand the flatscreen (no curve) holdouts. I think the curved screen is wonderful.

Are you referring to the screen rolling over the edge, or is curved like newer monitors and TV's?

It is definitely a personal preference thing. I can see how some people might like them and find them useful. I am just not one of them. I find it cludgey and annoying. The edge screen is just not something I am willing to live with for a year or two. So, I hope they bring out a flat screen variant, and the rumored return of the SD slot it true, or I will just stick with the 4. A removable battery would just be frosting on that cake.

Glad I went with the Note 4 earlier this year. Only thing missing is the water resistance.

Don't care for the edge feature either, so no removable battery + edge are both negatives to me. Just another comfirmation I made the right decision with the 4.

So I'm confused.
I know I haven't been paying attention since I've been exceedingly happy with my Note 5, but are they just completely skipping the Note 6?
Are they just trying to catch the number up to the galaxy series?
Not that it matters, if there's really no flat screen then I'm definitely not in the market anyway...

I've owned every note so far. This will be one I will not be buying if they only offer a curved screen. Not even a consideration.
