Crackdown 3

Awesome stuff. I really loved Crackdown on X360. It was a unique sandbox.

The main thing I loved about Crackdown was the "No story, just go" attitude of the world. Wanna climb that building? sure! Wanna go attack that druglord? go for it! Did you just get slaughtered? welp, you learned the hard way not to do that.

I'm curious how this whole cloud-computing thing is going to work out. How will lag effect it? Say you unleash a barrage of rockets at a building, nothing happens, you walk up to said building, look up, then said building collapses on you.

Will the pc version have cloud-computing or is it not necessary...pc master race...?

I really hope this game keeps the feel of the outrageous original.

Fun stuff. Barring something ridiculous I'll be in on this.

This is not supposed to be the game where everything can be blow up/destruct?

It's limited to multiplayer battles only. I mean, kind of makes sense, destroying area where the objective could be would make it too easy. Although I wish someday they would give us a game that could do that. "Climb the top of this 100 story building, fight through these halls of endless enemies, take down the boss at the top of his penthou-" *detonate C4* "Mission Complete"

The reviews are coming out for Crackdown 3 and it's looking pretty disappointing. Because of the cloud-based processing required for destruction in the MP mode, single player is totally absent of building destruction. They should have made it an "always online" SP game so they could maintain the cloud destruction processing.

I was hoping we'd finally have a decent destructive follow-up to Red Faction Guerilla. Guess will just have to keep on waiting :(

The destruction was majorly downgraded and looks no better (if not much worse) than what was implemented in Red Faction Guerilla. Cloud destruction processing is utter nonsense, I give it a couple of weeks before some enterprising modder figures out how to turn it on for the SP campaign.
