Although Google has recently come under fire for allegedly manipulating search results, Eric Schmidt says that the search giant is not backing any candidate and will remain non-partisan.

No matter which candidate gets your vote in the upcoming presidential election, the world's most valuable tech company will not be standing behind you. Google will not lend its support to either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, according to company's executive chairman Eric Schmidt. "We have not taken a position on the American election and nor do I expect us to," said the longtime Googler, speaking at Startup Grind in London on Wednesday.
 
Doesn't surprise me. I'm glad though... Businesses have no business in politics. FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE.

All joke's aside, Google doesn't need to put a dog in this fight. Republicans have made it clear that if it was a choice between donald or a shrew it wouldn't be the duck. Too many of them hate donald. At least there are more donald haters than hillary haters. By a large margin.

The hate for Clinton also keeps growing daily as more people get to know all her background scandals, when people are familiar with the full background of Clintons, she suddenly doesn't look much better than Trump at all. The big difference is that Trump speaks out openly and directly about his opinions meanwhile DNC does its best to cover up everything bad about Clinton. Clinton doesn't say so much as Donald but she has a history of doing instead.

If I've learned anything this election cycle, it's OK to be a con artist and scammer. You just have to apparently be honest about it and that suddenly makes it all good. Then it's just interpreted as having great cunning.

However Hillary Clinton is far worse than my BFF Trump and at least his words are actually his real feelings and not just the right misinformation to broadcast that a robot could say to the public. I've been reading Scott Adams' blog and his thoughts on trump are enlightening. I'd vote for him myself if I didn't have to fear excommunication from my girlfriend, who thinks he's the devil.

So are we making a case for the most out of touch with reality post of the year? Because this would certainly be a top contender if you think trump is more hated than hillary by a large margin. I despise him and the notion that he will very likely be our next president if she is his only competition. I'm sorry but i'm extremely skeptical that hillary can beat him.

He basically took the Republican spot because of cross-over democrats. He doesn't need those establishment boot-licking butt-hurt republicans. He has cross appeal when Hillary is considered. He has the cross-appeal that the Republican's and their RINO behavior thought would give them. All that RINO behavior and they got zilch for it, except shut out.

While I wasn't a Trump supporter, there really is no choice.
Hillary is so bad/corrupt/evil, I'll gladly hold my nose and vote for whoever has the best chance of defeating her.

There's an old saying, "you can judge a man by his enemies", and the more irrational hate I see coming from the anti Trump people, the more I support him now.

I was referring to Google and seeing if they really are remaining neutral on this. If Guccifer 2.0 leak shows donations coming from Google and/or top Google Execs making significant donations then I'm inferring that their claim to being neutral is bullshit.

Alright, my apologies. Regardless, the execs should be free to donate to whomever they want. As long as they aren't using the Google platform, then the company is staying neutral.

Yes, I agree they're free to do it. But when you have top execs that drive culture, it's a little difficult to keep it separate from the work space.
 
On Monday I typed in "Trump Speech Monday" so I could watch it and see what "analysts" were saying. Every hit that came up on Google was either a website just saying it happened (no bias, just matter of fact) or it was "Biggest Lies Of Trump Speech", "Hate Monger Trump Gives Speech", "Trump Blames Muslim Religion For Everything In Speech". I did not see a single level headed or, god forbid, pro Trump listing.

I knew when he said "radical islam" for the 100th time and told gays the truth, that the media was going to go into full panic mode.

My theory is that Trump doesn't really mean most of what he says. He's a negotiator, and negotiation is compromise. He's merely establishing a baseline to compromise from. That and he's pandering to all the crazies out there.

I've been reading a book called "Clinton Cash". And it seems to be that great fortune happens to land on the doorstep of people that make contributions to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative or pay for speeches for either Clinton.

So I would keep an eye these silicon valley types.
