It has thousands of reviews everywhere you think this is the most popular case of all time?

either 932

or the newer

Haf X

I must admit it one of the cooler looking cases out there yet.

the haf x is pretty popular. I actually almost pulled the trigger but talked myself out of it :) They both have great views. Personally in the future i might get the Corsair Obsidian Series 900D or the Cosmo 2 by cooler master.

I'm sure the Dell Dimension cases were pretty popular at one time or even the Apple if you talk about pre built systems.
I couldn't understand why the Haf series was popular it's been around for along time but Coolermaster know what they are doing like the Ridges in front of the case is plastic but if you bump it with a chair whatever it won't break. Now cases are going all Metal but lot of them have all Plastic fronts and parts yet. You can mold Plastic into more interesting shapes and cheaper than metal.

I personally think the Coolermaster 5 series is well thought out but the designs are kinda boring looking. Corsair cases have that same effect on me so much with boxes and Squares. My first case I really liked with a Alien on Front I still have is a Raidmax the alien no longer lights up due to a short. Raidmax cases are always intresting except alot of them just look like Optimus Prime.

In terms of relative popularity probably the Chenming/Chieftec Dragon (better known as the Alienware case) among enthusiast and DIY crowds for its time. It was resold under a ton of different brands and varations.

It was basically the first mainstream case above the typical conservative cases. While primitive now it had stock what people were modding other towers for (notably tons of fan openings).

To tell you the truth as a PC builder and repairer? The Antec 900 series is probably the most popular.

GOD I hate working on that damned case... it is NOT an intuitive design.

I have a 932 still.

The Antec 900's were pretty cool too, here are a couple I built for my friends sign shop as printing workstations.
One was kept boxed up and was to be used if the other had an issue since they were almost 2 hours from me and I sometimes couldn't get there the same day.
The spare was pulled out of the box over 5 years later when the first one died from a lightning strike. the lighting strike also took out the NIC board in his $30K Roland Soljet printer.

Still have my 932 in my old system in my bedroom. I started looking at cases again and used to be a big CM fan. They seem to have severely cut back on what they offer though. Not sure what I will go with for my next case now.

One of the last cases I had (in dark grey) before I started downsizing. That thing had room to spare and then some... but man if it wasn't a royal pain in the ass to move across the country with. Full size boards just don't matter as much anymore unless you're going to SLI. Everything else is built in or can be done over USB now. That's why I ended up going mITX for my last 3 builds.

That was the last Antec case I bought. I decided I coudln't do the rear load drive bays anymore and Antec didn't make any other drive bays in their cases.

Those are the Chenming/Chieftec Dragon's I mentioned. Chenming/Chieftec is the actual original ODM. Many other manufacturers ended up reselling it or variants of it including Antec and Thermaltake. The case was so mainstream it was used by Alienware, hence it was really well known as the Alienware case.
