The folks at NVIDIA sent word today that they will be giving away $100k in prizes during E3 this year. The grand prize is a GTX 1080 SLI powered ultimate PC battlestation, complete with monitor, HTC Vive and more. NVIDIA will also be giving away fifty GeForce GTX 1080 video cards, thirty $500 Steam gift cards, five hundred game codes and the list goes on. The embedded video below has all the info.

I never believe these drawings after the supposed drawing date we never hear about it again.

I know a guy that always wins these damn things. Got an x99 and 5960x from EVGA last year. Got a Platinum 1000w PSU a couple months from either Nvidia or EVGA. And just won another PSU last week.

I also won a Toms giveaway a few years back for a asus z87 maximus board, intel ssd and a 4770k. They were actually cool about it and gave me a lowballed 1099 on the whole deal. So it happens.

so this is where the extra 100$ goes to
That's what I was wondering where the profits of the Founders Editions were going. Now if only those 1080's and 1070's were in stock and not just a bunch of paper launch crap.

You forgot about the 300 1080's in demo machines.

What ever happened to simply filling out an entry form.

Is he like the guy from Real Genius that fills out 10 million entry forms?
lol you would think with the crap he wins. But nope just enters and wins. For the EVGA one's he does play on their servers for the required handful of hours/games.

Well, I'm out of the running.

Yeah I guess we are all old farts when we don't keep up with all the fancy social tools. Oh well I'll have to suffer through life with my titan-x and rift. My sli 1080 rig and vive will have to wait...

From the T's & C's:
EACH PERSON SELECTED WILL BE REQUIRED TO CORRECTLY ANSWER A MATHEMATICAL QUESTION INVOLVING AT LEAST FOUR OPERATIONS THAT INVOLVE AT LEAST TWO DIGIT NUMBERS

So, stupid people need not apply. Haha

This is because in Canada it is considered a lottery. This is a way to skirt that and make it a skill based "game". Pretty standard.

They can afford to give away $100k becasuse they charge us almost $1,000.00 for a 1080 in Canada, taxes included.
