Are there any GTX 1080 SLI benchmarks?

i think they only sent reviewers one card
Were they told not to do SLI benches or something? I think most of the tech youtubers live near each other in California. Whats stopping them from putting together SLI benches.

I don't think anyone has the new SLI bridges right now, so that's a big problem. Kyle mentioned the other day he's not even seen them yet. Sure one could use the old bridges but that's kind of pointless without comparison to the new bridges. Maybe the new bridges don't bring a lot to the table but without testing them there's no way to know exactly what the new bridge does or doesn't.

You need an enthusiast key to unlock those reviews for viewing. ;)

Review cards not coming with bridges is most likely a deliberate choice.

In my wild speculation, Nvidia is probably going to finish a driver to show SLI in an even more positive light, and then we'll see another round of reviews, this time for GTX 1080 in SLI.

I thought the hard bridges were fine for SLI?

SLI will work with them on the 1080s but it's not optimal according to nVidia. The point of my post is that since no one has them yet there's no way to know. I'm guessing there must be some material difference especially with nVidia now only officially supporting 2x SLI.

Some SLI numbers from Logan here, he failed at comparing it to anything though and did synth benches :\

The funniest thing about this whole situation is that the poster boy for these new cards (Tim Sweeney), coded an engine (Unreal engine 4) that is basically incapable of running SLI.

Does the UE4 engine support SLI? - UE4 AnswerHub

LOL so much fail.
It doesn't work with any multi-GPU AFR rendering method, since the renderer relies on previous frame(s). Crossfire has the same limitation in UE4, so your comment is pretty misguided.

For a little history, Unreal Engine going back to its early days has always had the same limitation. This has nothing to do with the 1080.
