Supposedly this video shows a "heavily overclocked GTX 1080 – over 2000mhz – vs a stock GTX 980 Ti" in various games like Just Cause 3, GTA V, Dark Souls 3 and The Witcher 3. The graphics quality in the video look extremely low but hey, until we get cards in our hands to test, we'll just have to settle for stuff like this in the mean time. We recommend keeping a couple grains of salt on hand when watching the video below:

Until you get cards in your hands or until you can say you have cards in your hands?

:)

I like how the video was uploaded on May 1st before the 1080 was even unveiled. Here's the proof date from the original upload: Possibly NSFW

It's faked and it's not even comparing the same scenes at the same time anyway. Also has the TDP listed incorrectly at the beginning. And the 2560 Cuda Cores are TBD? If you've got the card in your hand running a benchmark, you know exactly how many cores there are.

Not really a good comparison, cause its not the same scene on each side. So this proves anything.

heavy oc vs old stock? lets see something better to compare. stock vs stock at least

I could care less about overclocks.

I want to see pure card against pure card. Anything else is utterly useless to me right now.

I won't say I am not interested in how the card will push 4k content, but I am genuinely confused why people would even try to play at 4k. I have tried several times and you cannot even read menu's and such because the scaling is so terrible.

The 980ti even at below 30fps seemed like it was buttery smooth.

Jesus, that fucking video preview, really says all you need to know about the video's quality.
