The OFFICIAL post pics of your SFF thread...

Lone Industries L2 or L3, not quite sure. At the moment he's got not cases left to sell but at some point in time he might reconsider producing another batch.
Lone Industries
There are also a few threads about his cases here.

Oh ok, just thought it was odd to have to do a case like that... What case is it anyway???

Yes an L2, the spec for the PCIE cards has an EMI bump on the tab, the case itself was missing a cutout to match. I later put a fiber washer under the tab with the mounting screw going thru it in to balance it out. James fixed it in the L3 I believe.

Very nice setup! What case is that?

This is really cool, despite me really wanting the opposite of this. What I want more than anything is a way of sealing a computer from dust. I hate dust.

I guess at least this way, you would know when you heat sinks are getting too much dust in them.

I found a new(?) case manufacturer on Amazon and thought I'd give them a try as I was getting bored with my Silverstone SG13. It's the CR280 made by Riotoro, and it's around $50.

I wanted a tradition tower case layout without compromising the mITX form factor. The Fractal Design Define Nano S was just a bit too big for my tastes, so this case turned out to be the perfect substitute.

  • Good quality paint inside and out
  • Steel front facia instead of plastic
  • All black front panel cabling
  • Five 120mm fan spots
  • Removable dust filters front and top
  • Front panel I/O mounted to case, not to the facia (no pulling wires when removing the panel to clean dust filters)
  • Cable management holes in useful places
  • Lots of room behind motherboard tray (there's even a 3.5" drive mount back there)
  • Rubber grommets on all hard drive and fan screw holes
Overall I love the case so far, so I thought I'd share some build pictures to tip others off to this new company.

Specs below
  • Intel i7 6800k w/ Corsair H60 (2 SP120 fans)
  • ASRock X99 ITX
  • 16GB Crucial DDR4
  • Intel 600p 256gb NVMe SSD
  • 2x HGST 1TB 7200rpm 2.5" HDDs
  • Nvidia FE GTX 1070
  • Silverstone Strider 500w w/ short cable set
  • Riotoro CR280 w/ 5 AF120 fans

Some new SFF pr0n just arrived at my house today. Jonsbo U1 Plus. I'll most likely be doing a Ryzen 1800X + x300 ITX + 1080/1070 mini with it, depending on the AMD Ryzen benchmarks if they hold true.

My new build with an old Lian Li Q07:

https://thumb.************/j6v25w/IMG_20171101_164514.jpg https://thumb.************/kvgydG/IMG_20171101_154644.jpg

here the specs:

Cpu: intel XEON 1275L v3
CPU COOLER: Corsair H55 + Noctua NF-F12 PWM
CASE FAN: Enermax T.B. Vegas 180mm
Motherboard: Asrock ITX H81
Ram: 2x4GB crucial DDR3
Hard disk: SSD Crucal MX100 256GB
PSU: FSP500-50FSPT
VGA: GAINWARD GTX 1070

Nice job on the build. I have the same case I am using as a media server, what is that you have mounted at the front above the PSU?
It's a little voltage controller I'm using to slow down the water pump. It's pretty noisy and way more powerful than needed at full tilt, but the knob makes bleeding easy. =)

My rvz02 with external kraken x61 cooler.

It's a PCI to 2 PCI riser. The board is a VIA EPIA C7 CN10000EG. I had to go with an ITX board that had full Win98/DOS driver support. Unless someone knows of another ITX board that would work with Windows 98.. I couldn't find any Pentium III ITX boards for sale anywhere, and I only know of two that were made. Maybe a Socket A / 462 ITX board would also work, but I haven't tested any for full Win 98 driver support. The problem is, it needs a supported graphics chipset for the 2D graphics, and also a supported sound chipset.

My new project.. well.. older gear but new project. ASrock z77 itx with a 2500k cooled by an H90 (push pull ) and some Crucial tacitical tracers... just having fun tinkering.. 4500mhz for now. I have a 750ti to slap into it.

Very cool revenant, I'd give anything to still have my 2500k. Looking back on it now I wouldn't have bothered with a Haswell upgrade and possibly not Skylake either. Performance gains were so minimal.

Thanks man. Side by side this one is a little less snappy than my Z270 skylake itx build but not by a lot.. Once windows is loaded and settled it's very hard to tell... and even that time is not much. It's a nice little rig. I am thinking it will be my new dedicated streaming rig for my Shield portable.

After building my own PCs for 10ish years and never having them match, always being Frankenstein’d together, always ugly... I’m done. New build time!

First pic has the H200 case always dissasemlbed because I got it a few days early and had to mess with it.

Not pictured: 1tb m.2 SATA SSD, and my EVGA SSC 1060 that I’m reusing. Didn’t go NVME because of budget and because this will only be used for gaming and web browsing. Didn’t go intel because of budget and 2600x was on sale.

2nd pic: most everything together testing it

3rd pic: new NZXT fans and EVGA cables! Also a custom V1 backplate that i need a better pic of, doesn’t really fit well because of the audio ports AIO whatever squeezes it making the right “pop up” probably won’t keep the backplate.

Looks really nice! The red/black cables really help with the appearance. I'd add some cable combs to really finish off this look.

So is a Thermaltake Level VT20 considered SFF? If So I'll post photos of my current build.

Just pieced together my nouvolo steck build with my 8700k and 240mm h100i pro. With the glass panels it looks awesome. I’ll get some more pic in better lighting tomorrow. The lighting here at work sucks.
