If you're gonna ask us to build/list a PC for you or seek advice about a build, please answer all of the following questions:

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

Lots of complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Netflix, programming, web surfing, some gaming (i.e. SC2, DOTA)

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

$800 to $1k, tax and shipping included

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

United States, Chicago, IL

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.

Case, CPU, PSU, RAM, Motherboard, SSD, GPU, CPU Cooler.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.

SSD probably

6) Will you be overclocking?

No

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?

1900x1200

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

Next 2 months

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.

USB 3.0

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Yes, Windows 10 64bit.

By answering these questions you help us help you build a PC that's of better quality, better performing, cheaper or all of the above.

I think you're planning a bit too early as hardware pricing and availability can change in those two months. I recommend coming back for advice when you're only 1 to 2 weeks away from buying parts.

Though a few questions:
1) What SSD are you reusing?
2) Are you within a 30 minute drive of either of these two Microcenters?
Micro Center - Computers and Electronics
Micro Center - Computers and Electronics
3) What's the specs of your current PC?
