Hrmm.. I guess dodging two questions and just to epeen in this thread and all other threads is acceptable.
Anyways back on topic, played some DZ last night and had zero problems during extraction. Was a good night.
I haven't done Falcon Lost yet on challenging. Who's up for that tonight?
i've tried Falcon Lost on challenging five times now i think (via matchmaking). only once did my group get past the first set of enemies in the tunnels . i don't think i'll be on tonight but i'm planning to devote Friday night to beating it on challenging.
I'll probably be around and I will try not to die so you spend all your time reviving me
I game daily, don't get me wrong. Just wondered how long it actually took to get to DZ70+.
Pretty sure I was over the 200hr mark when I hit 75, but I'm old and slow.
I also have 4 characters, enjoy helping out new / lower level players and have 100% of all objectives (collectibles included), so it can probably be done in about 65% of that time.
Thanks! I'm pretty low still because I've been focusing on just some of the PvE aspects of the game (since gaming time is a premium nowadays!). I'm probably only around DZ22 or so (started DZ not too long ago). Seems like levelling is pretty quick, and last night I kept running into named mobs and even got a supply drop. Pretty awesome!

A lot of my buddies are in the same boat (rare game time). In the beginning the DZ rank moves pretty quick, but if memory serves going from 74 to 75 was equivalent to going from 1 to 50, so it rachets up. So does your killrate, so it's all relative. Finding a good route from DZ01 - DZ04 and playing in a full squad will speed things up substantially. My Uplay ID is the same as my name on here, so send me a friend request and we'll get you up to speed in no time.
Yeah I was with that group for a little while last night in the DZ. I just can't stay up so late anymore.
See that's where the game is the most fun, in that group of 4 where everyone knows what they're doing and gear score doesn't matter. Frrak you do a great job leading because I still don't know how long it takes the mobs or chests to respawn or even when an area has been cleared or not.
I know the map pretty well by now but I still have to hit the M key sometimes to figure out where I am. That's why its fun for me to tag along and help kill things.

I tried the DZ the last few nights with a group of 3. It was a slaughter and not in our favor. Seemed like every time I stepped out of a safe zone, I would get one shot somehow. 9 deaths in 3 minutes and didn't fire a single shot. Rage quit, but came back later when the boys said it was better. We were rolling around, found some yellow 32's in DZ5 and started to pump rounds into them. All of a sudden, they just started dying real fast, like even the named with them died in two/three shots, so we knew it wasn't us killing them. We left the loot to come back later as we didn't want to get ganked again. Came back after about 40 minutes, picked our stuff up, and immediately head shot insta death. While I was laying there dead, the guy who did it came by and took the stuff, (all blue/green so screw him), and then he went invis somehow. We tried a few different instances, but it was generally the same. I went from DZ 36 to DZ 32 last night. The ones I really liked were the ones who said they were friendly, we helped them clear the park, was getting ready to put our stuff on the rope, and bam, they went rogue and stole our shit.../sigh
I haven't tried the Incursion on challenging yet either, so if you guys decide to give it a try tonight, hit me up. I'm thinking it's time.
Well, we tried it. I was optimistic that we at least could get to wave 3. Uhh, we'll have to come back to that one. Hey we made it out of the tunnels. You should get 5 Phoenix credits for that. I want those shotgunners missile weapons. The range on those things. Good try guys. We did beat it on hard after that. I'm glad that it dropped what I wanted too.
If you haven't heard yet, it appears that the "Protection from Elites" stat does the opposite.
(Tested) Confirmed, "Protection from Elites" INCREASES the damage taken from elites. • /r/thedivision

Someone mentioned this before and I looked it up this morning instead of playing:
Ah, and Solhokuten, sorry about last morning I got afk'd when wifey came into the room.
So now we have to recalibrate that stat out of our gear. No wonder it seems like the mobs have been doing more damage. I believe it's either Bullet King or Hornet exacting their revenge on us by hacking that stat to reverse the protection from elites. It should have been Destruction from Elites.
Wake up and find a new major bug on this game. What a joke.
Motherf%#er. First I tailor my gear for scavenging, and after two weeks I find out it's a junk stat. Now "protection from elites" is a junk stat, which is more than one of my pieces.
Yesterday I finally disabled the regional chat window because some Chinese players were contantly spamming incursion "carries", I couldn't ignore them because they used characters that the game chat doesn't recognize in some manner, like
"IlIlIlIlIlIlIlIlIlI"
When you can re-roll it. 99% of the time when you pick up a piece of gear it has a different main stat than the one you are currently using, for example I'll pick up a stamina vest when that slot in my build is occupied by a firearms piece.

So apparently they introduced a bug so that "Protection from Elites" increases the damage the player takes (from Elites) in relation to the bonus. Lol, I get the feeling they suck at math.
As for the state of the game. There's a good write-up floating around on how Massive is trying to merge the WoW and D3 mechanics into a non-sensical hybrid. WoW = Rare items are hard to come by, but they have the right rolls [bonuses, IE: they kick ass] when they do drop. D3 = Loot is like candy, HE drops a lot, but you never know if the roll is going to be good.
Also. I just watched this and laughed .. Watch til the end for the relation.
Yeah I was only kidding about rerolling that stat out. I hope and assume that will get fixed rather quick. That Hamish guy said he saw it and forwarded it to the devs, plus someone else on their official forums saw it as well. So I am not touching any of my gear with that.
Lithium, thanks for that Stonemountain video. That was hilarious. No way would I kick that guy. "Double tap!"
Also great recap video from those guys about the current state of the game. Yeah it's just under an hour but worth the listen.
Well, about 6 runs of Lexington later, I'm about 160 pxc from that AUG. If anyone sees me on and wants to plow through it a few times, just hit me up.
It was actually posted by Ghostwich, I just quoted his post.
I'll be doing some runs of Lexington and Lincoln Tunnel tonight for the same purpose. I already have a decent AUG but the one at the BoO is better.
Is this the fastest way to get PxC right now?
Those two missions and the daily assignment.
Roughly how many per run? I'm so close to 50 in the DZ but whatever armor I switched to has made me squishy as all hell and my best Swiss cheese impersonation isn't cutting it.
You get 30 PxC per run and it usually takes ~15 minutes or so.
