I saw it too but when checked seller feedbacks, there's a couple of complaints on how they received used & abused instead of "manufacturer refurbished". And there's no description, photos or anything. That's why I passed.

I really wanna get one though. I missed their sale when it was $1139 for only an hour or so. :) Might have to bite and get it at $1379. :(

I'd spend the extra cash and order it from somewhere you can easily return it free of charge. These panels are far from perfect and there's a chance you'll get one that has to be returned. If you buy that Adorama ebay deal you'll be paying for return shipping.

Thanks for reminding. I checked out my local BestBuy & Frys but none have stocks. Also, they're still selling it at $1700 plus tax, which is very expensive for a monitor in my book. :)

Can't really says yes or no. I would imagine there's nothing bad to worry about. When I got my TV, it started updating when I turned it on, so I wouldn't know the difference between 1440, and anything lower.

I updated from 1421 to 1443, i can't see any changes, only the contrast increased a bit, but maybe its just the Placebo ...

just heard back from the seller on my refurbed 9000. supposedly all the original accessories come with it, and it doesnt have a single defect.

I asked because sometimes the display turns off ( 2-3 seconds) and on
Could this be a driver issue?

Try another cable.

Not all cables are quite good enough, even though they are specced to be. Another of the same cable might work as long as there isnt a fundamental flaw and they are known to work well for most people.
And not all HDMI interfaces are the same, some need a slightly stronger signal.
Then there are impedance mismatches between cables and HDMI interfaces that cause part of the signal to bounce back.

Some people have to try many cables before they find one that is suitable.

I have exactly the same problem with a 1080p TV because I have had to use a longer cable recently.
Every few minutes the picture goes black for 2 to 3 seconds.
Time to try another cable.

Is anyone running one of the Club3D adapters with the ju6500 or any other of the 2015 samsungs? I just got my 48" today and I think I'm running at 4:4:4 (because I can read the test image text), but I don't have any option for it in my Nvidia Control Panel. It says that it's hooked up via "DisplayPort - PC Display", it looks like the hdmi 2.0 video cards give the option, but the Nvidia Control Panel says that it's hooked to a TV.

You should see other options where you change the resolution - for RGB/ycbcr and dynamic range.
RGB colour format does not allow you to configure 4:4:4 settings, it should default to 4:4:4. But it does allow you to limit the colour resolution in another way, so change the dynamic range to full.
If you select ycbcr colour format, you will see options for 444 or 422.

Your display will need different calibration for RGB and ycbcr so be prepared to set it up again if you make this change.

These options don't exist for me under resolution. All I can do is change the resolution. No dynamic range or ycbcr options

Got my 48" 7500 set up on my desk and I love it, the only problem is I get nauseous when I use it. Is this me being sensitive to pwm? This is my first non-CCFL computer monitor, so I'm not sure if that is what is causing it. I have read elsewhere that turning up the brigtness will "turn off" the pwm effect. Can that be done on these tvs? I tried setting the backlight to 20 and it's a bit better but now super bright. Or could it just be that it's too bright and I'm too close. I haven't had a chance to put up my wall mount which will get me another 6 or so inches away from it. I hope I can figure it out because I don't wanna have to return this tv. The size and features seem perfect.

EDIT: Also does PWM sensitivity get better over time? Or will I always feel this way when I look at a offending monitor.

Setting back light to 20 minimizes the PWM but it will still be there.

Are you getting nauseous just looking static windows desktop or does it only happen in games where the whole screen is moving ?.

If you are getting sick looking at static screen its probably PWM.

If you are getting sick only when you look at a moving screen its probably your brain not being used to such large moving screen up close and you are getting motion sickness. It should pass in a day or two.

no go on that refurbed JS9000. arrived in town this morning broken. i never even got to see it, tracking went from Arrived In Town to Damaged In Handling, Returning To Sender.

im supposedly on a waiting list for another one right now.

So now I'm thinking of moving away from the JS9000. Apparently, Vizio's new P50-C1 has even BETTER image quality than the JS9000, FALD, HDR, a free Android tablet which serves as the remote, AND it's $1000 CHEAPER than the JS9000. Holy crap. This bad boy is looking like a real winner. Only thing is, it's not curved, but I'm thinking that may not actually be a bad thing.

If Samsung got serious competition in this segment I imagine they would lower the prices on the JS9000 models. They been raping consumers for a while now. High time the pricing became more down to earth and reasonable. The Vizio model needs to be proven first of course.

Vizio P Series 2016 Review (P50-C1, P55-C1, P65-C1, P75-C1)

It has considerably lower input latency than the JS9000, and a lot more input options as well. It's cheaper in part because it contains no OTA tuner. But who the hell wants one of those anyway these days? Especially on a PC display. :p

Keep in mind though that the low input lag is only on HDMI5, which doesn't support 4k@60Hz w/ 4:4:4 (it does support 1080p@120Hz on all P series, except the 50")

Lol. There doesn't seem to be any reason to get the new Samsungs over the Vizio P given the price difference (and Vizio has better specs in most areas too).
I will never buy another Vizio... I had a really really bad support experience.
