I have a Ubiquiti Networks Unifi 802.11n Long Range Enterprise WiFi Access point for sale.

(Stolen image, I don't have any good pictures of my own, and this unit has never left the box)

It includes:
- Wireless Access Point
- Power over Ethernet Adapter (so you only need to run one wire to where you mount it)
- Wall Mounting Bracket
- Pop-up ceiling mounting bracket
- Screws/hardware to mount it
- Manual
- Software CD

Essentially, this is a brand new retail unit. The box has never been opened.

Why you should buy it:
This may be the older 2.4Ghz only 802.11n, but as anyone who has used these access points knows, their performance compared to consumer devices is unparalleled, at least in areas where the 2.4Ghz band is congested. I originally got mine back in 2011 after hearing about them on these forums. At the time I lived in a condo in a neighborhood with way too many WiFi-routers, cordless phones and microwave ovens in a compact area. I tried several different consumer routers, even very high end ones for the time (like the Netgear WNDR3700) and none of them could satisfactorily cut through the noise and provide good speeds. The Unifi unit - however - worked some black magic, and just worked from day one, and gave me excellent speeds.

The Long Range model claims an unobstructed range of up to 600ft (183m) or 200+m depending on which of their spec sheets you read.

What you should be aware of:
1.) This is not a router. It is a wireless access point only. You will need to have a separate router. (When I first got mine, I just disabled the WiFi on the ISP provided router, and plugged the Unifi AP into one of the Ethernet ports on its back.
2.) You either need to install software on your computer, your server, or on your phone in order to set it up ad manage it.

Back Story:

So recently my old Unifi AP died. Ubiquiti was kind enough to replace it under warranty, despite it being out of warranty since late 2013!

I just emailed their support to see if I could figure out if I could fix it, and without ever asking for special consideration, after it had been determined that the unit was dead, they just initiated an RMA and sent me a replacement. I was floored at their level of customer support. Unfortunately by the time it became apparent they were actually replacing it for me, I had already ordered a replacement on Amazon (and of course, I stuck with Unifi)

My house has a relatively compact footprint, I have no need for multiple access points, so it is for sale.

Asking Price:

I'm asking $50, or best offer plus the cost of your preferred shipping method.
