Way To Fill Openings In A Class Schedule and Checkout

I am looking for a way to have a place on a website that you can configure training classes that people can then sign up for and pay for. We would want to allocate say 10 opening for a course and then have the site be able to track when people sign up and sell out when all openings are filled.

We would want people to be able to pay for them at checkout.

Is there simple way to do this? I am hoping there is a service or plugin that would provide this functionality.

Class schedulers are common homework problems... so yeah, that can be done. Paying for it and that backend match up - is a little more difficult.

I am unclear on what 'service or plugin' you are expecting to find or for what platform.

I guess I was hoping for something like Shopify where it is a pre-built solution.

I guess I was looking for a specific recommendation based on what I am trying to do.

I used to run this aspect of our group at my old job. We built out a custom Drupal in-house solution for it, but before that we used to use Eventbrite for this service. The vendor is good, we just outgrew what they were offering us and needed something more integrated with our website. Worth checking out, at least as a starting point for narrowing your requirements.
