The two keys I bought worked fine (7 Pro / 8.1 Pro) with their respective OS's. What flavor key did you buy and where did you get that message using what media / install method? For 10 with a 7 key, others have reported the ISO doesn't work but the USB will when made with the MCT (don't try to make a USB from the ISO)

I just now got the confirmation as key activated from icecpu.
Key worked just fine after Windows was installed but it gave him a error before the install so I asked to choose don't have a key.
Thanks for the info bud.
 
I used ISO from the cd to install then when activated it has option to upgrade, I choose upgrade then after that it's activated. Don't know why it ask upgrade.
I bought windows 10 home key, I installed windows 10 home 1 language edition . After enter the key, hit upgrade button, computer restart , then it's all activated good now, and I see windows 10 home
