Need it to upgrade bios, speed doesn't matter but if someone has something like a i5 2400 or 2500 for dirt cheap I may still buy that, however for the most part I'm just looking for anything
 
you will have better luck looking for a 2400 I think. the 2500k's still sell like hotcakes and generally not for "dirt cheap".

I was rocking one less than a month ago actually it carried me through 4+ years of gaming and aged very gracefully :)
 
For only $25 or so, the Pentium G620 on eBay may be your best bet.
