Since Elizabeth Woods on the Etsy page is no longer making the carrying case for the M1 has anyone found a good substitute for it?

I bought a Voodoo Tactical bag precisely for its dimensions when I got my M1 v1. This was before there were any other bags being discussed on HF.

Amazon.com : Voodoo Tactical Two-In-One Full Size Range Bag Padded 15-7871 Black : Other Products : Sports & Outdoors

Once you take out the inner bag, it fits perfectly snug inside. Could do with more padding, but it is otherwise is the perfect fit. I built my M1 and took it with me on the plane using this bag.
Not to mention it also has the side zipper for holding additional cables or accessories.

When the M1 is out of the bag, I put the inner bag back in and that holds all my PC building tools. :)

DJ record bags are probably something to look at. Should be around the correct size.

Since I'm often carrying around my Rift demo set, I use a larger suitcase to carry around a box of headphones and the DK2 itself (soon to be CV1!).

I have seen people use pelican hardshell cases with pick and pluck foam inserts

I'll probably get one of these, but they're a bit expensive for my tastes. Waiting for the price to come down or some more money to come up.

Anyone else come up with anything? I've been looking through range bags but haven't found anything quite right yet

I keep saying I'm going to buy a Pelican case for transporting my M1 around (not on a plane though) but I haven't done it yet. Been too lazy. I would get one large enough for the M1, plus keyboard and mouse . Do just like the photos above and cut the foam to size. Pelican would provide the strongest protection I think. For air travel my only suggestion is don't even do it but that's just me.

I can't post links, as I made this account just to add to this post. I personally purchased the Osage River Tactical Shooting Gun Range Bag (Standard Size). Very nice quality bag. Ncase just fits vertically in the main pocket, and with the side pockets I have room for mouse, keyboard, headphones, headphone amp, and all the cables I need to attend a LAN. I've read elsewhere that someone bought the ADJ products F4 Par Bag and that the Ncase fits in there as well. I cannot vouch for that, however. Sorry again for not being able to post links.
