Truly Wireless Earbuds

I've been seeing ads for another one that is in kickstarter phase and will ship in April called Phazon. Hard to decide between all of these. The thing I liked about the Phazon is that they are apparently guaranteed to not fall out of your ears...which is my main concern with earbuds when exercising. That and being sweatproof (I've broken a few from sweating).

That's the good part about living in Finland. You're supposed to ignore everyone.

And ear sweat? Ewww...

Damn I wasn't aware of products like these and I just bought some Powerbeats2. The Kanoa's are the same price at $150 too. =\

Haha, it sounds worse than it is. To clarify...I have long hair, and sometimes when my hair sweats it gets into my ear.

To be fair the Kanoa and the Phazon are on pre-order and don't actually ship until April....so maybe you can get your moneys worth out of the Powerbeats by then and upgrade :D

April's just around the corner. Plus the $150 price tag on the Kanoa's vs. $300 at release is damn tempting (assuming that's true).

I'm really considering pre-ordering these.

Anyone else bite on either? Know any more?

Damn on the Kanoa's you can get $10 off with this code: KANOAFAN

I wish they weren't blue or you could get em in different colors :\

I just can't see the justification in spending double for the Dash's. The Kanoa's have a (claimed) 4-6 hour battery life vs. 3 hours on the Dash's.

The thing I like more about the Dash's is all the different gestures used to control the music and transparency (more too). It would be awesome with a simple swipe of one of the buds to be able to hear someone talking to you. I'm constantly taking my earbuds out to talk to workout buddies. The Kanoa's have it too, but it's controlled through your device. But again, another $150 for that? Nah.

At $139 I took the plunge. Can't wait to listen to music in the shower! xD

The other thing is that the Dash's have a built in 4GB player so you don't have to drain your phone to listen to music, etc.

Pretty sure I would go for the Dash's IF I were going to buy something like that.

That's a decent feature but not so much that it makes the Dash's worth double the Kanoa's, and it doesn't drain your phone's battery. Just this morning I was at the gym using Bluetooth headphones and my phone's battery went from 100% to 98% over the course of an hour. The headphones will die long before your phone will. I do suppose it would be nice to not HAVE to have your phone to listen to music, especially for running outside.

I think I'd like the Dash's better as well but not for $300 over $139. Maybe when they release I can pass the Kanoa's off to my better half and get the Dash's for myself.

One thing about pre-ordering the Dash's; you won't be billed until they ship. On the Kanoa's you pay up front. Not that big of a deal but for some reason a future expense is easier to swallow. xD

Is there any news on these? It seems like vaporware from the research ive done. I want these so bad. I guess I'll have to just wait for them to release and pay full price.

I see that both Bragi and Kanoa are being careful to not mention watching video with these. I assume that means they haven't solved the variable delay problems with Bluetooth yet.

Tried the Bragi Dash, it was..... underwhelming. A few glitches but mainly poor quality sound. Maybe it was the fit or perhaps my expectations were too high. I'll stick with my Noble Audio BTS and their short cable which turns my custom IEMs in to Bluetooth CIEMs.

Welp, got an e-mail from Kanoa, the first batch isn't shipping until the end of September/beginning of October. Sheeeeesh x(
