Trailer is amazing and this actually looks rad. Totally nailed that late 80s, early 90s art and style.

I like how they showed almost no actual game-play footage, that totally sells me on this game.

Will probably be as good as their last licensed game, The legend of Korra.
Which means, it will suck. Oh, and its cross gen? Yeah, totally gonna suck.

Transformers: Devastation was Platinum Games' last licensed game, and it was pretty decent.

Yup, Transformers: Devastation was pretty good. As long as I hear some good reviews I'm sold on this.

Next they should do Thundercats!

In case anyones wondering it appears to be an adaptation of the newer comicbook series co-written by Kevin eastman & Tom Waltz. The book has been going for something like 5 years now and is quite good. It's very mature though lots of death and violence I don't want to spoil anything but the current storyline is pretty shocking. If you're a tried and true fan you're probably already reading it but if not you should really pick it up. The game is written by Tom Waltz, co-writer of the IDW comics.

So worried this was going to be a tie in to the terrible Michael Bay adaption, so I'm definitely more hopeful now. The old TMNT brawler games were pretty decent.

Not a huge fan of that particular cell shading style, but I'd like to play another TMNT game. In my opinion, Turtles in Time was one of the best Turtles games.

Agreed, i loved those type games so I am down for a 4 player CO-OP run with this. Ironically the next movie actually looks really good as they are making it more geared towards the cartoons surprisingly.

The Manhattan Project on NES was the best, in my opinion. Though I do remember dumping $30 worth of quarters in the arcade machine in one session back in 1990.

Actually, it's last licensed game was Transformers. And it was fucking awesome.

That game was VERY good for it's time, and a lot more fair on the player to boot. Turtles in Time was the best though, especially the SNES version due to it's extra level.

No it wasn't. Turtles in time was way too short and also way too easy. Especially if you had played the previous games.

My only complaint is that I want it to be stupid hard like TMNT arcade its not looking like that from the gameplay. No hard or easy mode options. I want the game to spit my eye every time I make a slight mistake on timing. They just dont do that on triple A games anymore.

Platinum Games are known for making some challenging games. Beating Bayonetta on normal wasn't a cake walk for example.

Most gameplay demos dumb it down because they want to show off the game, not some guy die and restart over and over. I'm hoping that's the case here.
