EVGA GTX 980 TI Hybrid Cooler $75 @ Amazon.com

Wish I could justify that for my 980Ti. I have no temp issues, though :\

AIO coolers are a "never again" purchase for me. Had two H80s, one H100, and a Swiftech die right outside of warranty. Fuck that shit. Air cooling all the way.

Yet if you do buy it, I wish you luck! I believe the EVGA AIO only has a 1 year warranty.

I have a Seidon 240M in my HTPC, way out of warranty and had an H60 I sold way out of it's warranty too.

May just be your luck.

If you have the $75 to spend, just look at the load temp differences.. It's always nice to stay cool under load.

I've had my H100 since 2011 with no issues, and I got it used. I guess sorry for your luck.

That's a really good deal. The Corsair HG10 is $50 alone. But then you need to buy a Hydro series H60, or other AIO cooler if you dont't already have a spare, for another $60.

These EVGA AIOs are awesome for GM200 card, netted me about 150MHz more in SLI which topped out around 1291 before they started throttling on the stock NVTTM coolers. I run them daily at 1450 everyday but can run stably for benches at 1484. 980Ti can prob do 1500 or more especially if you are just running 1 card.

This will keep your GPU at 50C or so under load but then you will probably hit VRM temp limits, voltage or total power limits that prevent you from going higher.

EVGA also updated the shroud to LED illuminated ones that look much nicer for only $6 shipping for a limited time. There may be an updated version which is why this one is discounted.

I don't see where it says 6 dollars shows out of stock and 25 dollars

The H80 and H100 were recalled by Corsair. Their replacements are running quite well for me.

not really worth the cost. at least with sli bridges they will be used in future builds but the shroud will become completely useless when you upgrade to pascal.

I wonder if you can use the evga aio hybrid kit to cool the cpu

Just had newegg pricematch this. Thanks! Now if I could find that elusive EVGA Titan X backplate.

I have a 980GTX, and it says the hybrid cooler is $20 more.

Are the Ti and the regular GTX different set ups?

The Hybrid kit doesn't come with a backplate? That's kind of weak. I got a backplate with my ACX 2.0+ cooler.

The kit is just a shroud and AIO cooler. It mounts to the stock PCB, midplate and blower. I think the screw pattern and clearance around the core is the same, so it should fit if your GTX 980 is a reference card. Really the only difference is what it says on the shroud. Before the 980 Ti or Titan X Hybrid kits came out people were putting the regular 980 kit on the Titan X.

ah, I have the EVGA ACX 2.0. so i'll have to look for another solution.

Thanks!
