The 49-page affidavit is available for anyone interested in a narrative of the investigation. I wonder if they’ll get this sorted out before The Fappening 2.0.

Majerczyk accessed 330 unique iCloud accounts from his home a total of over 600 times. Once breached, it would’ve been simple for Majerczyk to download the entirety of a victim’s iPhone camera roll and share it on, say, 4chan. The leaks were stunning and titillating to onlookers, but took a particular toll on those whose naked pictures were actually being traded like baseball cards. The special agent’s report notes that Jennifer Lawrence was particularly anguished by the attacks.

We could try and say that the scale of the "hacks" (read: idiots who fall for phishing) was what brought the feds into it. However, we all know the feds just wanted to see more naked jlaw on the dudes box
 
Privacy violation sucks a major dick, and I wish it didn't happen to the celebs.

Taking and being part of nude photos should be celebrated. As a photographer who has done many nude photograph sessions I think more people should try being models for their own nude photos and society shouldn't treat people like whores are harlots for being naked (which sadly some of these movie stars were). Stuff like this scare the shit out of people, but on the other end it entices others to try it out. I will admit from personal experience the fappening has actually had zero if not a positive effect on people wanting their own personal professional nude photos.

Ignorance over stupidity imho. Happens once and you learn and fix it...good. Keeps happening and maybe it's stupidity.

I think we've all fell for something in the past that we won't do again, otherwise scammers won't keep trying to scam.

For some reason I kept reading this as Nuke Caleb and have been trying to figure out why they gave this such an odd name lol Was trying to figure out if Nude Caleb was a site by some guy named Caleb who was posting the pictures or something. :p

The real issue is that Americans are ashamed of our bodies. Even if your attractive. If your an overweight slob,then yes. You should be ashamed. But everyone here equates nudity to sex and that's not right.

Even if you are fine with nudity, you probably don't want a picture of your face covered in jizz being passed around the Internet.

Why not? Why is that bad? Why is sex bad, but spending thousands of dollars in plastic surgery and botox totally ok. Or putting women in movies solely to have some eye candy, and never giving them any real personality?

Why is totally ok for Disney to make money hands over fist over a sexualized 17 year old Miley Cyrus, but when the adult Miley Cyrus tries to define her own sexuality she's ostracized by everyone?

And let's not even start on the whole nudity is worse than violence thing.
 
Every time I see someone try to foister their own ideologue over something like this and try to extrapolate it into something inane, I am reminded of a disturbing conversation with a degenerate who said he wanted to move back to Russia, because they aren't prudes over there and he could rape whomever he wanted because the authorities don't give a shit.

If I want the opinion of someone on how americans feel about their bodies, the last 2 people I would go to are either the people on the far right nor the people who photograph naked people for a living - both have a grossly obvious bias. And the next 2 on that list of "your opinion is shit" are the people who massively consume either sides "product".
