CES 2016: Day 1 Recap

The crew at Engadget put together a short highlight reel of what happened on the first day of CES 2016. Not a very exciting day but, once the show floor is open tomorrow, I'm sure things will pick up.
 
There was a time when CES was all about Audio...Then came Video. Now it's...Well it's not what it used to be, it needs to die and go away.:(
 
I couldn't concentrate on what he was talking about when I couldn't determine if he actually wore his jacket inside out, or that I want to never go outside again because that jacket was designed that way.
 
Considering Engadget's recent cliff freefall in people using the site . I hope that all the tickets they gave these employees was one way. The current site is just unusable clickbait.

Bring back the old site with a it's old comment section.
 
Laptops have Oled it's just a matter of time before you see Desktop monitors I think..I know they are already out there but nothing practical. Same thing happened with LCD technology in the early 2000s

100%, I quit going to the site the day they released the redesign. It is so so bad.
 
Nothing impressive from day 1, hopefully it picks up
 
I saw somewhere that a new DSL technology was showcased that's many times faster than current. I'm interested in that.

I have the same type of jacket in the same color he has except for the blue patches (mine are slightly gray) and one in brown. They are super warm and feel really comfy.
 
What I really can't get past in the video is his apparent leg twitch that shows him bobbing up and down slightly which is super annoying.

Cool, I'm gonna shear you and make a decent jacket and tech site from your remains.
