Saw this browsing video cards for my bro. If anyone is looking for a dual GPU card on triple slot this is a pretty good deal at 500. Be warned you need at least a wopping 1000 watt PSU and it will take 4x 8 pin power connectors. Lol. Link below.

Note - This also includes a Razer Ouroboros Mouse sweetening the deal.

This is one of those things that I totally don't need, however I would freaking love to mess around with one.

So this is about $100 cheaper than a Fury X and significantly faster too? Looks to have a higher clock speed, more memory (4x's more) and about 20% more steream processors than a Fury X?

What's the advantage/disadvantage to both?

More powerful power supply required on the Devil, Crossfire issues on the Devil instead of single card solution. is that it? Other than those two issues it would seem for most people this is a better option than the Fury X?

What about driver support? Looks to be shoddy from what I can find...

EDIT: What I've seen might be from when AMD hadn't released Windows 10 drivers.

So for games that don't support multi card setups, this card will run only off one core?

This brute of a card is a beast! Big, Heavy, & Green. 8GB per GPU to boot, Damn good deal!

I'm still wating for a $30 PowerColor rebate from 2013. I did all the right things. Got registered on the site. Was notified I was due. Then I never got anything. I suppose I could blame the mail person but I've seen too many other with issues from this company's rebates. I had no problem with their card but I'll never do another rebate with them. Caveat emptor bishes

Bought a 7950 with a I forgot the amount of MIR but do remember I never got it, did everything they wanted. Checked the steps more than enough times. You aren't the only one and you can't blame the mail man.

Card on the other hand looks amazing and I hope everyone who does buy get their MIR because if they don't this deal is far from hot.

Just got a rebate back without issue on a Powercolor 390 triple fan card. Made it 250 total after all was said and done. Their rebate process seemed pretty slick and modern.

In the last 18 months I've had really good luck with rebates from XFX, Corsair, and Netgear. Before that I felt like it was a 50% chance to receive any rebate. In each case I got the rebate well before the maximum allotted time was up too. I think companies are getting their shit together with rebates. Or maybe newer better rebate handling companies are starting up (since I presume these are all handled through a third party).

Gah I hate dual GPU but I love single PCB dual GPU. Someone slap me, I would love this.

Here is a review from [H].

Review

Seems GTX 970 SLI is pretty competitive, to an extent.

The full wattage load on this thing however is almost a half more over the 970's :/

This thing got a Gold rating from [H]ardocp when it was going for $800. $499 is a steal. :)

Drool!!!!

But I don't need for 1200p.

I can wait for quite a while until I need to upgrade my vid card again.

So tempting... Especially after Christmas cash has come in.

Any word on how much power this thing requires? 1000W platinum PSUs?

I just had a good experience with EVGA and their rebated Platinum 650w P2. But they too used a funky sized envelop for the check. Its wasn't business sized and it wasn't letter sized. It was a square thing that is meant to look like tossable junk. From beginning to end the rebate process is designed to throw banana peels under your feet. No way I trust PC with a $100 rebate. At that price I want a 100% chance of success. Not 80%, 90% etc. For the months it takes to get the rebate, the card is probably down $100 on legit sale.

Problems with Powercolor rebate

Caved in and bought the card, which arrived today. It's looking good so far -- going to pair it up w/my Seiki SE42UGT (42" 4K 60hz), which should be coming in later this week. Thanks to the OP for the super deal! :D

Here are some quick impressions I had of this monster card:

This video card is wonderful, delivering what I am looking for in solid 4K visuals. Superb for movies/YouTube usage (with lovely blacks, as expected). Text isn't too shabby using Windows 10 300% sizing, per their recommendations. Shadow of Mordor at almost all Ultra settings @ 4K at a constant 55-62fps (averages 60.2) is quite lovely to play. Some of the games I play have issues w/Crossfire (even using the latest Crimson update), but running as a single R9 390 w/8GB of ram is a decent trade off.

That having been said, there is only one real issue w/this card: pushing the limits on this card in terms of gaming means lots of noise from the fans (not quite the decibel breaker of 2x stock R9 290s/R9 390s, but still pretty loud -- also, I have a mild, memory-only overclock to 6Ghz w/no voltage tweaks whatsoever). I'm fine w/it because of my living environment and my closed headset; but this might be a deal-breaker for others. HardOCP's review already mentioned that; I'm just reaffirming what they said.

And yes, the card is super heavy; heaviest video card I have ever hefted -- it was like lifting a 4 or 5lb dumbbell. The included mounting supporter is a must to use.

For the $800 Newegg was asking for this card when the HardOCP review came out, I would've given it a Silver (it is an absolute BEAST of a card, like a top-end supercar -- and a real triumph of PowerColor/TUL's engineering, given what Hawaii is), but for $600 with a free Razer Ouroboros mouse and a $100 rebate? It is an absolute steal, with the caveats I mentioned above.

Thanks for reading!

nevermind. powercolor names a lot of things devil.

Still can't believe this card is/was being sold at this price. If I didn't already have a 295x2 I'd be all over this.

For those worried about x-fire support, from experience, it's really been cleaned up since the last couple driver versions (not that it was horrible before). Can't think of a game I've played recently where it didn't work well out of the box (Witcher 3 did have some issues, but that's mostly resolved now). I've also had great experience with Powercolor service in the past...

I think with a 750w power supply I'd have to go with a 970GTX SLI and I'm not even sure my PC Power & Cooling power supply could handle that.

I have a 4770k @ stock, 3 hard drives, and 6 ssds.

Very least I'd feel safe with this card would be a solid 850w, 900w better.

If it wasn't such a huge rebate I'd really consider buying this. If it was $500 out the door and not worrying whether or not i get a rebate later on then it would probably be a buy.

Also i'm in TN so i get $50+ in tax

Def looks like it could use some different cooling.
Wonder if you could slap a R9 295x2 cooler on there?

I just read this: Unlocking Hawaii and realized that, in theory, it MAY be possible to unlock the dual R9 390s on this card to R9 390x's. Unfortunately, their utility told me that it was hopeless (for my card, anyway), but given that this card has a dual-BIOS switch, I figure that it's worth it for other folks to try and see if they can successfully unlock their cards. Dual R9 390x's would really make this card the single greatest "bang-for-buck" value card of the last 2 months. Good luck to you guys! See relevant links below for more info:

Just an FYI for those who are curious: I just got my Prepaid Reward card in the mail today (MasterCard). So the rebate does work, at least for me.
