The PC-X900 was a high dollar case introduced by Lian Li about 5 years or so ago.
I have been trying to find another one, but no luck.
It still appears on Lian Li's site, FWIW, but nobody has one that I can find.

This was a windowed case with very thick aluminum construction, much more solid than most of Lian Li's current offerings. The side doors were held on with a captive thumbscrew closure mechanism that seems indestructible compared to their original and still used pin system that can easily lead to broken pins and retainers.

There were likely very few of them sold due to the price, and most people would consider them to have been substantially overpriced, but, as I stated, this was a premium case.

Is anyone familiar enough with their current (or older) product line that can point me to one of their cases that is in any way similar?

You can recommend another case manufacturer, but only if it is all aluminum with removable drive bays like Lian Li.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Have you checked out any of Caselab's offerings? More specifically the Magnum series? Doesn't look identical, but they're similar with removable bays and full aluminum.

No, I had heard of them, but never looked at their website, so thank you.
Even more high dollar than what I was considering/wanting, thanks again! ;)

Certainly worth considering, but can anyone with Lian Li familiarity answer my primary question from the original post?

Thanks!

The new PC-X510 is similar.

I want to like it, the front is very clean, but I always need one 5.25 bay and the top is ugly with the cutouts.
I also dislike how they did the HDD/SSD mounts. For such an expensive case they should have been more inventive.

Agree on the need for 1 x 5.25 bay for a Blu-Ray burner.
I like otherwise being able to remove any and all drive bays.
As for securing SSD's I have never bothered, I can't see wasting more than a tie wrap to secure one.

I just switched to USB external disk drives. I can put it right under my monitor for easy and clean looking access and not have to mess with any 5.25 slots. Plus the front of my tower is 5 feet away from my desk.
