Fallout 4

I have some questions, hope you can answer someone:

1) Is there a way to distinguish on pipboy from a side quest and the main quest?

2) I would like to do this quest "the progeny of evil" but I'm not able to enter the church, it says me that the door is locked from the other side but how can I enter?

3) I would like to do this quest "investigates the supermarket surgery" but I don't know where to go, there is no point on the map that shows where this supermarket is. Where is it?
 
1. Not that I know of.

2. There's probably another door on the other side of the building. Many areas have an "emergency exit" that you can use when you're finished running through them, so that you can exit the building without having to retrace your steps all the way through. These are barred/chained so that you can only use them once you've finished making your way through the building.

3. If it doesn't show you the location when the quest is selected, I'd just google a map.
 
if a door is locked then you need to go around (or possibly above). sometimes the entrance may be in a nearby sewer or building.

I have run into a bug where sometimes a door used to enter a building doesn't work. it doesn't even register that you can open it and you can actually walk through it.

I saw that, but only once, on like a trailer type door. I was able to walk through it and collect the loot so no harm. I guess it is a problem with the "opening" animation
 
There's at least two different door bugs. One where it appears closed (or appears as if there isn't even a door there, the wall texture just continues), but you can just walk through it (and for me at least walking through it fixed the display issue, so it then appeared normal/open). This happened to me on both doors at the Giddyup Buttercup factory (what an awesome stash of crafting junk, btw).

The other is the door is closed, can't walk through it, and it won't give you the option to open it. This happened to me at the end of The Big Dig quest and is usually fixable by saving and then reloading from the main menu (saving and reloading without going to the main menu usually will NOT work).
 
man, i think i'll never bang curie, im on a straigh path to hell since the pickman gallery, and then, i shit you not bro, i was doing a mission somewere and she said "i think i had my fill of all this darkness", man i thought "wtf? oh this is not good". i know i have to be nice but there are levels of nice that im not prepared to go no matter what lol

Me, too. I liked that mission and situation. You can even revisit them afterwards. I almost wondered if something else was going to happen at that point but sadly it didn't.

Console to tweak her rating enough to do the deed then go back to your regularly scheduled carnage. :D

I'm still using Cait and having a blast but my next playthrough I'm going to pick up Curie ASAP and take her along. :)

Am trying the water purifier thing to get some more caps - exactly how does it work? I put one in Sanctuary - where do I actually get the purified water from?

Also, can anyone explain how the Local Leader perk allows you to transfer supplies between workbenches? I'm hitting up my different developments but don't see my junk (or other supplies) in the different benches.

Water will show up in the workbench.

You need to assign settlers to supply lines. Any connect settlement will have access to the supplies. When in workshop mode, walk up to the settler, and you should have an option to assign to a supply line. Some settlers cannot be assigned, so try different ones.
 
Also, with setting up supply lines, you only need to connect each settlement in series, is run one from Sanctuary to red rocket and one from red rocket to Abernathy farms and so on. You don't need to connect each settlement to every other one directly.
 
at a workstation click on resource tab. you should see extra water there. For the transfer you need to establish supply routes first. Resources on transfer for crafting purposes. They will not be "available" for collection otherwise. So if you are crafting weapons, armors, chems, cooking or upgrading the settlement you can access all resources.
 
dude dude! look what i did! after finishing some quests for the railroad they gave me the option to craft a ballistic weave for normal clothes, man i dont even remember getting this option on my first run, i tried in some outfits and then "hmmm.." it gave some ideas. i went to the nexus and found this: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/668/?

gave a feathered dress to myself and curie and a second deliverer to curie through the console then i modded them on the workbench to be the same as mine and behold! what a crazy looking pair huh? like a pair of angels of death! mwahahah! time for a test drive :D

Ugh...Ballistic Weave is the reason I am re-playing from one of my lvl 45 saves (before I finished main quest) so I could have the uber under-armor upgrades...LoL.

I'm guessing with my current armor which is about 150 dmg and 130 energy resist...I'll be at roughly 260 dmg and 240 energy resist - without power armor...not too shabby!
 
uh well, it was fine againts a bunch of riff-raff raiders but now i dont think i'll be able to go like this, even the radroaches are now being able to hurt me, playing on survivor, i guess its time to go back to my stuffed of armor self, it was fun for a little while oh well. :p

Hey Darkness - you do realize that mod lets you add armor to you <under> armor items right? So if you were sporting the Military Fatigues (like I am) that are +1 Str/+1End - you can now mod those to up to 110/110 (maybe a bit more...) and equip it under your normal armor.

Or did you mean you just can't run around in the dresses anymore? LoL. (edited/added)

Like I said..only reason I'm replaying from an older save...figured it would be handy to have ; )

yes i do but it doesnt have the option to use in the bos uniform, i found something in the nexus for it that i didnt used before, i just hope i dont get to much armored because it would spoil the fun :)

Not out of nowhere you gain favor first I think it was 3 notches up after I got her and you need to progress to the main story in good neighbor first the doc there can give her a synth body after that get her favor up more you can romance her

i dont even know what i did lol, i was walking around with her and she went to me and started the dialog to get her a body, besides that i have no idea :p

might have to have her start following me again. I just got into goodneighbor. need to find out where she is though.
 
It's kind of weird though with Curie, she will still talk like a robot even after she has a "human" body.

In my experience she doesn't seem to "like" things very often...tried flirting with her once and was successful but haven't had the opportunity again after several hours with her.
 
guys guys! i was going on my usual random quest stuff and i got a "Curie idolizes you" message on the corner of the screen, this is good right? i think this is it, i mean, desu right? :D

lol im 33, spoiled and was born good looking, everything is easy in life for me. was lucky enough to avoid marriage and kids so far, current girfriend is an architect and is probably coming from work to here right now! today i had things to do but i decided to spend the whole day playing fallout in my house, fully naked of course, because its summer here, i also enjoy very much being naked, and i look great! i also fucking love mirrors, im at this age and i still cant have enough of me, oh well :D
