OCing is nice, but it's not my primary concern, and I'm just going to use air cooling.

Jet.com has a 15% off deal for new customers, and they've got the 980 ti FTW priced at around $650, so that'd put the card at $600.

I could also grab the Classified for $700/dlvd from B&H.

In this scenario, is the Classified worth $100 more than the FTW?

I'm in California, and neither Jet nor B&H charge sales tax on sales to CA addresses, so that's something that makes them more desirable than Newegg or Amazon.

I have EVGA 980ti FTW and it seems like its maxed out from factory, unless I add more voltage, which I haven't tried.

Maxwell needs to be at 25C or less to scale with voltage after 1.23v.
For that reason, unless you're going LN2, just stick with the cheapest non-reference you can find.

1450-1500Mhz is fairly normal with 1500Mhz+ being more luck of the draw for 24/7 overclocks.
It's certainly not worth spending $100 on. If anything, I'd just gun for the $550 B-stocks whenever they are available. Great value.

The FTW met my needs. I like to o/c and it did so fairly well. If you're an aggressive overclocker and are going to squeeze every last mhz out of it, go for the Classified.

I bit on the 980ti FTW for 585 on jet pretty good deal i thought, if it OCs decent cool but if it doesn't no big deal its factory OCed anyway plus i need the vram 2GB at 2560x1600 just doesn't cut it anymore.
