Mr. Yoshida has tweeted that you’ll be able to stream and play PS4 games on your PC soon. Xbox One had this since July, so I’m surprised it took Sony this long to introduce this.

Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. :D

I don't get why you would want this? I'm a console and computer gamer. But I can't think of any reason I would want to remotely play my ps4 games on my computer...

If you are mainly a PC gamer I suppose and need to "share" the console TV with the Family?

They could be watching Netflix while you still are able to play that console exclusive?

This. My friend uses it on the Xbox one when his kid or wife wants to watch TV in the living room and he wants to game. I plan on doing the same with steam link.

I use this all the time on the Xbox. I only have one tv so the wife and kids can watch something and I can game at the same time. Works pretty good.

Would this give PS4 players the ability to use KB/M?

No or at least not within games that already do not support that.

Seems like a pointless feature to me tbh. But then I don't play the same games on my PC that I do my PS4. I use both for entirely different types of games.

Maybe he should spend that time with his wife and kids?

bahahaha who am i kidding i was up till 7am watching Sword Art Online anime and playing dragon ball Xenoverse that i picked up during the steam sale. and then i was up at 11am to play some more.

I am all for this. Sometimes the G/F may be playing a Xbox One game and now I can spin up a PS4 game on the PC if needed and vice versa with the Xbox One.

My computer room is comfortable but the xbox and ps4 is in the other room. This lets me play at my computer. TV can also be used by other people at the same time.
