Metro Vacuum ED500 is $47 @Amazon!!!!! Hot!

Yep, when you push the button the torque will break your wrist if you don't have a firm grip.

total exaggeration but it does have a good kick.

There is a higher end model with better air flow BTW. Granted, in some cases care must be used when using this. This can bend and damage some thing heat fins and it will break fans if you do not immobilize and stabilize the blades. I broke one of my M17x R4 fans with this when i first used it. It also was moving the fins a little so be caution on how close and what attatchments you use.

Dirty rat fuckers.. Just paid $56 the other day for SS.

I generally just use a compressor to blow computers out but all of the good reviews have convinced me to give it a go. In for one.

The attachments will fly off and damage your electronics. You have to hold it with both hands, one hold the unit, the other holding the attachment.

Pondering on getting this. I usually use a leaf blower. But I hold everything down so it doesn't move anything, just the dust.

I bought one of these a few years ago and use it regularly. It's one of my favorite power tools, perfect for the job of removing dust from any non-fragile computer component. Consider using a vacuum to capture dust from things that haven't been touched in awhile, since it'll blow a dust cloud throughout whatever room you're in.

It's got a filter on the intake that needs to be cleaned occasionally... I use the duster to clean it's own filter... which is oddly satisfying.

Been using an air compressor for years now.
Will give this a try. It's certainly a heckuva lot more portable! :)

I'm in for one because of <insert impulse buy reason here>.

as much canned air and the issues it brings it will pay for itself with me. If I move where I can use an air compressor I will probably use that but for now....

"You purchased this item on December 17, 2013"

Seriously, for under $50 (I paid $56), it is a deal.

This is one of those essential "must-haves" and for this price get on it!

What? You must either have a broken one or be special and missed the spot where it snaps on......or maybe a earlier version?

SS? most stores and credit cards have a price match guarantee if its within 30 days.

I bought one of these like 3 years ago and it's still amazing. Completely replaced compressed air cans for me.

Although I do still buy the compressed air cans sometimes to shake and flip over to freeze huge bugs in my house lmao

[H] Secret Santa. And Amazon said they wouldnt price match due to being a BF promotion ;/

I own one of these as well to clean my computer cases. Its worth buying so you don't have to buy compressed air cans.

Beware there is a downside to using this. After about 5 minutes of use (yes 5 minutes), the air it blows is pretty warm/hot. I have to wait about 30 minutes for it to cool then reuse it again.

So it could melt away some computer parts if you keep it on for awhile while using it

I've been waiting for this to go on massdrop forever. I'm waiting no more.

you didn't listen. Some credit card companies have a price guarantee. So you call your CC and they lower your price on their side. It is one of many benefits that CCs give their CC holders.

Also I posted B@H has it for even less and tax free for many people.

Also amazon always will give you a credit if they sell it for less but that only applies if it was with in 7 days of purchase. They used to do 2 weeks or 30 days but they lowered it to a single week from purchase.

Where do you live with "bugs" that big, playing Fallout 4 in VR?

I paid with my bank account.

And it was within 7 days but they said for BF promotion to fuck off lol. No biggie, only $9 more. If $9 breaks me, I am in trouble. More or less the fact that I didnt win the battle :) I sometimes get caught up in "getting screwed" when in reality, it really does not matter. I had no problem buying a Glock42 @ 8am this morning, but I am worried about the $9 here.

yea i getcha. BTW you should never use bank cards for multiple reasons. If you used a CC you could have gotten those 9 bucks back by a simple phone call to your CC company.

Higher liability
less benefits
less protections in various manners not including fraud
doesn't build credit
and so on.

You should listen to me I have a 820 credit score give or take at 27. I had like 770/800 (two difference unions) at like 21 :D It could have been what it is today but I just didn't get around/didn't know they like you to have like 100K open credit. I raised my credit limits from like 70K to 100K (in the last 2 months) and that boosted my from 778-798 in one union and in another i have been bouncing around 800-820.

Granted, once that divorce is over my credit is going to eat massive shit but oh well...I at least hit the magic bracket once :D

I love my data vac. Long story short, probably saved me 40 cans of compressed air between home and work. Thats a lot of savings over the last couple years. If it died tomorrow I would have no reservations about buying another one, even at full price.
