500GB Crucial SSD for $120 on Amazon

How does this compare to the popular Samsung EVO or Sandisk Ultra II?

Here's what TweakTown thought:

And AnandTech:

Don't think HardOCP reviewed it...but the consensus seems to be that it is quite close enough to the top-performers most of the time that you won't notice a difference...

SanDisk Ultra II 480GB is also on sale on Amazon for $110USD BTW:

Definitely slower than the Evo, and the endurance is 72TB instead of the 150TB the Evo is if that makes a difference.
Personally I'd spend an extra $30 and get an Evo, or $18... but then I'd have to deal with black friday at Fry's

I partook of the 59 dollar SanDisk 240GB Ssd deal that was floating around yesterday, got an extra 5 dollar promotional credit + 5% off.

So for $51 to my door -- I got another 240GB drive to Run raid0 with... double the capacity, and a nice speed boost too :)

I have had fantastic results with crucial drives. Definitely solid.

I so want this but swore i would hold out for cheaper 1TB drives (and not the 960, 1TB!)
