ASUS 24" Gaming Monitor 144Hz 1ms NVIDIA 3D $209

Anyone went from 27" to 24"? Is it a big downgrade? I love my 27" but I love the specs on this.

Prob cause going up from that 24 monitor to rhe 27 asus gsync was a huge difference to me!! You'll feel boxed in on the small 24. Find a deal on the asus 27!

Tbh it felt horrible. The only 24 I had was a Dell 2412 which was 16:10. The 24 asus when I tried it felt super small. But maybe because my day to day screen is a 32

I have this monitor and absolutely love it. There is a noticeable difference between 60hz and 144hz. As far as 27 inch screens, I have never played on one, but my 970 runs GREAT on this monitor and Im afraid Id lose performance, and money, going to 27. Maybe when this thing dies I will look.

On a side note, if you get this monitor make sure you use the cable it comes with. I was lazy and left the current monitor DVI cable connected to my computer so I didn't have to bend down behind the pc to unplug it. Well, the cable it comes with allows 144hz. The old cable I left hooked up did 75. I couldn't figure that out, as I thought it was the same cable. It is not. Google helped me out quickly.

Nabbed one today. Used the $25 Visa Checkout code. $184.99/shipped. 2% cashback on top of that. My first gaming-level/144Hz monitor, going on a GTX 970. :)

I have used both 24" and 27" screens and actually prefer 24". Higher density (especially makes a difference at 1080p and 1440p) and much easier to fit on your desk.

I'm using a 27" MG27Q which I like, but only because there are no 24" 1440p or 4k IPS Freesync displays out there.

Thats what I worry about. I love my 24" as it just "fits". I saw a 27" curved display and fell in love. Not with the price though. I believe the change is something that I would eventually get used to and love, but not worth spending more money to do it. At least right now. I am hoping one of my friends grabs a 27 or 32 inch and I will try it out on that first.

Have an Alienware AW2310 and am wondering if this is worth the upgrade. 120hz to 144hz might not be a big difference but I wonder if the response times and color are?
