Frys has the JS7000 series with the quantum dot/nanocrystal LCD display on sale in-store only.

$797 for the 55"
$1097" for the 60"

They are listed in the email as Trusted Name, but if you call up the store it is for these Samsung panels.

Additionally, and importantly if you live in somewhere like Cali, they will pay the sales tax.

For those that care, the 55" is an IPS panel supposedly while the 60" is a VA panel.

Are these good deals? Does anyone know the models?

I'm looking for a new living room TV for movies/tv mostly, and sometimes consoles. Would either of these be better than the other? if the 55 is IPS and the 60 is VA does that mean that the 55 will look slightly better, but the 60 will have a little better response/ghosting?

Im still looking for a 75"+ tv. Prices just dont seem to drop much for those but I see 65" and 70" all the time. Wish they had this in 75"

Hoping for a good 70" 4k deal before Christmas. New house with large living/dining area is the need :D

$1200 would be a great price point to buy, but I am hoping for a bit lower.

I'm in the same boat, but the reality is that 75"+ is niche. Only a small fraction of people buying 'em. Economies of scale (or lack of, in 75" case), yada yada.

Good deal I suppose, but at this point I personally will be moving the an OLED TV to replace my pioneer plasma which has served me extremely well for the last 8 years

I wonder if there will be any good sales on projectors. I really love my BenQ W1070, but I totally wouldn't mind splurging for a good 4k projector if the sale arises. I'm pretty sure I could recoup some cost on my BenQ without too much issue.

Vizio M 75" from Costco is pretty good for the price. It's just that it doesn't support 4:4:4 for my needs. Next year models should be even better at the same price.

Im waiting for the 48" JU7500 to go on sale. Looks like the perfect gaming monitor

FRZ: Funny. I'm in the same boat as you. I own a Pioneer 720P PDP-5080HD that I've also owned for 8 years now. Still a great set. Oozes blacks!

I'm going for a Samsung 55" Curved JU7500 that will go on sale on BF (my local brick & motor TV dealer told me) for $1299.99 My neighbor is lined-up to buy my Pioneer for $250.00 Good luck.
