JET.com 20% everything, max $50 discount

Let me tell you guys what Jet did for me because it's pretty impressive. A couple weeks ago I used my first purchase like many probably did to get a new graphics card. Ordered the Zotac 970 for ~$245 shipped. The card screamed like a bandit with coil whine, some I could deal with but I heard this thing from across the room in everything, Capping the FPS to 60 didn't really help. I returned it and was refunded. I still wanted a new graphics card however since my first purchase already used the 20% off I lost it on thier site.

I emailed Jet.com asking if there was a way to flag my account again for the first time purchase or even just get a flat 50$ discount similar to the first, explained what happened with the first order. They didn't just credit me but they gave me a discount for a Strix 970 to equal what I payed for the Zotac. They basically gave me $80 in credit. So I just received a Asus Strix 970 for $238. Not a bad deal.

I got my hard drives from Limited Goods, they were actually packed pretty decent in a big foam block with cut outs for each hard drive.
 
Mm... It's been like 3 days and they still haven't sent mine out. How long does it take to at least ship something? If I knew it was going to take a week for it to even get started, I would have just coughed up 70$ more. =_=;
 
Yesterday I picked up a Acer GN246HL Monitor - 24", for $135.99 Shipped, tax free. Absurdly killer deal.
 
Just ordered a Zotac 980Ti, $536 out the door. Great deal if it makes it to me in one piece. :p

Can you post a link to the card you got? Also do they have a list of States that they charge tax in? Looks like they charge for NY state customers...
 
I think it depends on who they get it from. My Amp Extreme just still shows "In Progress". I went and sent them an email, hope they get back to me soon. I don't really care if they cancel it at this point, because I don't care about paying more for actually receiving something...

At least the reply was fast and courteous enough. I guess I will be getting an AMP Extreme for 603$ after all, though it is anyone's guess as to when. From what he said about "Warehouses" and such in the email, I guess that they might be working on a similar system to Massdrop... They get the item first and then send it to you? Hmm...

Heh, they just gave me the tracking number in my email. I checked it and it turns out my card is actually going to be delivered tomorrow. It was en route right away. Hope it arrives okay.

Yeah, I just want the backplate and stuff. I've heard good things about the Extreme. Coil whine aside, but almost everyone has reports of coil whine.
 
They ended up sending my card out on Monday and emailing me the tracking on Tuesday. It will be here tomorrow and I can't wait lol.

Got my 980 TI today and the packaging was very nice. ASIC qualitty completely poops on the G1 gaming I got from newegg last week.
 
The packaging on my 980 Ti Amp EXTREME was excellent. Box arrived utterly unscathed. I went ahead and put it in and checked the ASIC. It's 79%. Not bad. Not as good as the Classy I had from Amazon Warehouse before, but it's only a point or two off. It's also new.

I went ahead and fired up FireStrike Ultra and found that it boosted to 1442 at stock, and stayed at 1442 throughout all of it. The default fan profile is pretty good. Much better than the Classy I had. I don't think I even need to overclock this, really. Only thing left to do is put it on a Kraken G10, but considering how good the default fans are, I'm not in any hurry. Temps are 70 and under pretty much all the time (pretty quiet, too). Looks very good, and an excellent card all around. The cooler seems to be a bit worse than the Classy's when it comes to just keeping temps freezing low, though.

For over 70$ off MSRP, I'm pretty satisfied. Not only is it cheaper than the used Classy I got, it plays better and it's new. Only thing that could make this sweeter is if I can somehow get the free game deal out that web site that sold it to me. That's who I have to contact, right? Not Jet? Kinda doubt anything will come of it because I went to Unbeatablesales.com and they didn't have the free game as part of the ad. Not sure how I'll go about this. Really glad I went with Jet, though I guess it was kind of lucky all around.

The free game is only from certain Nvidia partners, you won't be able to get it.

Well, there's no harm in shooting them an email. I'll see what happens. Assuming it fails, I've still got about 4 or so AC games to get through before I even get around to the latest one, so by the time I do it'll probably be on a huge sale anyway. XD
 
FedEx Smartpost is so slow. My order was scheduled to be delivered by 11/13/2015. My memory has been in Charlotte, NC since 11/8/2015. It finally moved to Raleigh, NC this afternoon. Says I may get it Saturday. This is completely false; it just means that it will arrive at my Post Office on Saturday afternoon for delivery on Monday, 11/16/2015.

Why can't the Post Office just go out of business? When I order more doodads from Jet I'll just pay for the upgraded shipping to avoid the hassle.

I got my Phanteks Enthoo Luxe case from them (supplied by Newegg) at a discount and it has been great.
 
I picked up two Dell U2415 for about $224 each. Wish I had another address to get a third.

Thanks, the Strix arrived before the payment even finished, within a couple days of the order. Installed and happy to report no perceivable coil whine. Card runs cool and quiet and I'm happy with it. Have not done any overclocking yet as been playing Fallout 4 but plan to this weekend.

In transit to local Post Office - Allow two to three additional days for delivery

It is in transit to Rocky Mount, NC which is nowhere near me. So assuming that it actually makes it to Rocky Mount today, it will take another 3 business days to get from there to my Post Office. Then another day for them to deliver it. So I'm looking at next Friday, 11/20/2015. I ordered this stuff on 11/5/2015.

The 980 shipped from Lewisberry PA fedex, the block LJUBLJANA - SLOVENIA DHL. The block is in CINCINNATI, OH this morning and the 980ti just left Sparks NV. I'm hoping for a tie. :p
 
My order finally arrived on Saturday. Came from Newegg. If I had known it was coming from them I would have bumped the shipping up a level as I learned many years ago that their shipping is slow as molasses to my address. I'm just so happy now with my purchase. Grinning from ear to ear. ;)

Thanks for the heads-up OP, I was skeptical about Jet.com and certainly wasn't going to pay to join, but once they made the account free, I figured I would take a chance and I'm glad I did. I ended up picking up a Michael Kors watch for my wife for her birthday. She's wanted one for awhile but the watches are pretty low quality designer grade watches and way overpriced for what they are so I never got around to getting one, With Jet.com 20% off I ended up getting one for her for about 40% off MSRP and another 18% or so cheaper than Amazon.

I was really skeptical however, as watches like sunglasses or any other small, relatively high-priced items are frequently counterfeited. YouTube as usual was a great place to keep an eye out for fakes, as were some reports from 3rd party marketplace sellers on Amazon itself. I also mitigated my risk somewhat by purchasing the same watch on Amazon, as most buyers agreed shipped and sold by Amazon watches were legit and not fake. Got the Amazon watch last week and the one from Jet/SGI this week and it is not a fake, so I'm very pleased with that. I checked all the key signs, like boxes, movement, stop watch, link quality, and even weighed them and felt comfortable it was not a fake.

I ended up saving about $40 more off Amazon's already good price and while the package took a bit of a circuitous route to get to me, it made it in pretty good time.
 
I was looking at getting a Dell U3415W on eBay for around $650-675. Kept looking and looking and bid on a few, but then found this thread. jet has the monitor for $750, I ended up paying $672 after all the rebates and everything. Huzzah!
 
I picked-up a 32" BenQ monitor & it's already here. Took 2 days from New Jersey to our home in Massachusetts. Came today. Saved me $100.00 vs. Newegg (granted I used that 1st $50.00 incentive) But still....Came in perfect condition.
