Post Your Workstations 2015

Decided to finally take a new photo after re-wiring my sound system.

I ran new double insulated wire which eliminated some nagging EM noise, and installed rubber isolation feet on my sub to get it up off the floor. (Not pictured, it's down on the bottom right.)

I had to pull the whole thing out and snip all the zipties off of my entire wiring harness (about 50) to replace the cables so it ended up being an all-day project over the weekend.

I wasn't sure how I would like the 5K iMac, but a few months in and with bootcamp, it meets my needs. The PS4 has become my primary gaming outlet since most of my friends are all console gamers these days.

I always wonder at how people operate without a 10-key. Granted, I do a lot of spreadsheet work, but its become so ingrained in my typing style, I couldn't imagine going full time without one.

Sure does make for a clean, compact workspace though.
 
Just finished a small remodel on my office (new paint, laminate flooring, stained the desk and de-cluttered). Then I treated myself to a Crossover 404k monitor to replace the 28" Hanns-G (shown on the right). What a massive change. I think I'll stick with this setup for awhile.

Nice. New case arrived as well as my 390x. My next move is a 40 inch 4k monitor to replace my 27 inch BENQ. My new 2015/2016 rig is almost done. New headphones, mic, speakers, and the monitor, and I'm done. :) Motherboard is on RMA right now though. Sigh.

Apparently not (hit every page and went looking for my sig and my name).

My only beef is that I wish I had some slightly better (and larger) monitors.

This layout actually works quite nicely for me.

Uh, being that it's sporting a Thermaltake Core X9 case, it's ANYTHING but SFF.

The thing's the size of a small kitchen dishwasher.
 
I use them as something to sit hot bowls on (not on the chair, they just wound up there later). So the heat from the bowl won't do anything to the laminate surface of the table.
 
Still in the planning period on rearranging the whole office. But currently this is the setup now.

Computer on the right is the 4930 on a the benq 32 4k monitor.

Computer on the left is an i7-5930k running the acer xb270hu and the xb280hk.

I'm thinking of making a new desk. Here's a pic of my current desk, which I have posted here about 4 years ago:

Ditching the second monitor?
 
It's been a while folks...

My i7 2600k/GTX580 rig died so I decided to go in a completely different direction for the next few months. Purchased a Surface Pro 4/ Dock to use as my main system. I will eventually rebuild a Skylake rig but the most taxing thing I do is the occasional Photoshop edit and Youtube lol.

(PS. The U2715 is gorgeous and was my Black Friday purchase. Love how it looks so small next to the BenQ BL2710PT on the Ergotron arm.)
