Tenkeyless version of the G910 Orion Spark that doesnt have G Keys. This also has regular key tops.

I might be up for one if it's got better keycaps. The ones on the full size version are just awful.

my god what a fucking abomination, whats wrong with logi these days? theyre targeting $100 plus mech kbs for 4 to 10 years old kids?

There is a lot to like about Logi's newest gaming keyboards, G-keys, RGB LED per-key backlighting, the open source API, Romer-G etc... but sadly a lot of this is overshadowed by the frankly ugly and worse, non-standard design.

If Logitech made a G910 with the rough appearance of the Corsair K95 or K70 RGB, I'd buy it in a second. Having an aluminum deck is a nice feature, but the real feature are the keycaps. They use CherryMX switches which are great, but there is a sort of standard "Cherry-compatible" keycap in the enthusiast keyboard world for aftermarket customization - THIS is what Logitech should be using. I could forgive the ugly fort on their keycaps if I could know I'd be able to replace them with a new set if I wished to do so but currently with the G910 (especially because of the angled keys ) the spacing is all wrong and it isn't compatible with Cherry-style keycaps. The G410 is a step in the right direction though which seems to have fixed the "slanted" keycaps...but I wonder if they're interchangable for CherryMX cap tops?

I know that Logitech isn't really thinking of the after-market-keycap-switchers, but the appearance of their products really hurts adoption. When your aesthetic say ULTRA GAMER PASS THE BAWLS BOOM HEADSHOT LOL, it turns off everyone else. Remember how much annoyance there was when Corsair changed from their "pirate sails" logo to the "tribal" one on some products under Corsair Gaming branding? That was relatively small and people were offput, asking for the original back. I'd love to support Logitech as they've done a lot of good things (ie the Romer-G switches are Omron made if I recall , seem to be high quality and most similar to CherryMX Browns w/ silencers., their per-key RGB backlighting works well, they continue the open source code examples for how to interact with their G-series hardware etc..) but certain decisions they've made make that difficult. I hope they come out with a revitalized "premium" G-series line soon.

Edit - I wonder if they're going to make a mechanical G13 update? It is WAY overdue.

Anyone tried this keyboard yet? I like the romer-g switches, but hate the keycaps of the g910. I saw this was actually in stock and for sale early on Amazon the other day, was just curious if anyone here has one.

I believe that the keycaps on the g410 should be swappable to the g910 for those that want the features of the bigger keyboard but hate the keycaps. I know Logitech was selling g910 keycap sets for like $25 or something so hopefully they'll do that for the 410 as well.

It's like Max Keyboard fathered a child with Thermaltake and created a monster that wants to die.

What has Logitech become?

You know, with the backlighting turned off, the g910 doesn't look all that strange aside from the wrist rest. I find their older keyboards to be much uglier. And, while their new mice might look a little too "extreme," they're actually much more comfortable in my hand compared to the old style that you have pictured. I really don't care what any of their products look like (to a point, I suppose) as long as they work well. If I need a keyboard for the office there are hundreds of great mechanical options that are plain black rectangles already.

Can't argue about the g910 keycaps, though: they're just not good for actual typing. As much as they want to call it a gaming keyboard, pretty much anyone who games also, you know, types on their keyboards.

I have no complaints of my G910. I game and type alot. It took some getting used to and its not for everyone i know. But i went from the Original blue G15 with the flip up screen. I was long overdue and i wanted a replacement. The G15 V2 was more of a downgrade. I wanted a G710+ with the screen like the G15s and the G910 was it so i jumped on it and enjoy it very much.

Yeah, it really does all come down to user preference and what you're used to. It's just my style of typing--I've typed for so long on lower profile keyboards that the raised edges on the g910 cause my fingers to trip up because I don't actually lift them very far off the keys during typing.

I can't wait to try the g410 because I love the feel of the romer-g switch and the higher actuation point. Plus, I really want to have a tenkeyless board for at home. This board really has everything I want and I'll be super bummed if it turns out to be a dud.

i can definitely understand that.

I think they are actually a lot better for typing. I used to occasionally hit multiple keys in error but with these keycaps I never do. The only problem I had was double tapping since the actuation point is so shalllow, but after a few weeks I got used to it and don't have that problem anymore. I typed well over 100 wpm with 97% accuracy before I used this keyboard, after switching my speed has stayed the same but my accuracy improved to over 99%.
