I have to put my password in the phone to boot up the phone now that it's encrypted. Then when android would start I'd have to log into the phone also. Now logging into Android has been completely bypassed. After booting up the phone with the first password, it just boots into Android without any password prompt. How can this happen? Wonder if the fbi has been tinkering with my phone. Any way to re-enable the 2nd password prompt again? Getting paranoid here. Thanks.

The FBI has singled you out to try their new encryption bypass. Throw the phone into a bowl of uncooked rice asap :p

You're probably not interesting enough for the FBI to care about you. Setup your security code/password/pattern again. An update might have erased it or you might have accidentally disabled it.

Ok that's fine. I wiped my device and now when I'm installing android fresh, when I go to enter my u/p it is in a loop saying please log in using one of the owners accounts for this device. I was just logged in before the factory reset. What could be going wrong?

Are you using a stock ROM or did you put a custom ROM on there?

Also go double check the username and password you are entering is correct. Like go to (presumably) Gmail and make sure the login works.

At the very least you can rest easy because now NO ONE can get into that phone, you encrypted the shit out of it! ;)
