Those of you with tickets to this year's event are going to be upset. Don't pretend that you weren't going either. :D

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Second International Congress on Love and Sex with Robots will be postponed until 2016. The conference will definitely not be held anywhere in Malaysia. We deeply apologize to any person or any authority which have felt offense in any way.

Looking forward to seeing the Testing Methodology [H]ard|OCP will have in place for sex robots.

"Today on [H]ardOCP we will be using our [H]ammer to to test the endurance of these sex robots. Will the sex robots survive our time-honored testing and keep ticking like a Timex? Stay tuned!" :D

Ya know, there are many I.T. professionals and gamers speaking about 'bare metal' in one form or another. I guess this is what they were really chatting about. :D

Doesn't Malaysia make rubber products and stuff with all their rubber trees? If people started doing that with robots, there'd be less of a market for latex so I can see why they wanna stop the kinks with robots.

You would have thought Japan was the obvious country to hold this conference.

The new Cinderella robot - - It pleasures you for hours, then at midnight turns into pizza and a 6-pack.

Do we have an official meme name for this yet? Like furries or bronies, are they metalies?

But until that robot can get a job, mow the lawn, fix stuff, drive her around, be part of a social network, and repeat back the last word she says when she's talking at it, its not really a male replacement. So no worries.

A femmebot would be less complicated to program though, just having to master laying down and making sandwiches.

boyfriend or husband mowing the yard? haha In nicer areas that is somebody that is paid, however you do often hear of woman screwing the pool boy or landscaper. So guess that still works for your wording there. In none nicer areas I notice woman mowing during the day more than males. Although makes sense if the husband works and the woman doesn't, or you have the kids do that as a chore. So I say that maybe 15% of the guys actually mow their own yard.

That device "could" be part of social media. Although not really sure you want it posting what you are doing at the time lol. Reminds me of when the xbox 360 had a feature where it would post to twitter. "I really enjoyed playing games with my friends today" "I have been sad since I haven't played any games for a week"... stuff like that. I can only imagine what something like this would be posting. "My batteries are almost fully drained after tonight's session, as I am sure her energy is probably depleted also. After both of use renew our energy we should be ready for another long session"

Joking aside, my comment was more to point out that "robot" doesn't mean it has to be a full android or something like that but that devices that "normal" people use could well be included in the definition of robot.

I don't know if I'd want to see the aftermath of a sex robot that gets a [H]ard 'Failed' designation!

The [H] doesn't believe in canned benchmarks. The staff will have to test the bots out themselves and provide us with real-world data.
