It's time for a round of beer and tamales for team 33!
On 9-15-15 our points for the day broke 13 million points. Last month on the same date total points was around 8 million. Way to Go!

LOL

Leave it to you 2 to mess with a old man :) . And yes I do like it on top :D but I am wise enough to know that I can be bitch slapped at any time and be knocked off the top and picking my butt up from wherever I happen to land.

Now come on bitches :p

Well, there goes my chance at the no.2 spot that I had been gloating over for the last month. Bring it on - I hope that the top ten has a 7 digit entry fee again:)

We have now more than doubled this from 8mil. To 17mil. good job people's

ive got half a mil offline right now, corrupted the os but hope to get it back online by the weekend, keep it up guys

I'm back from holiday on sunday so that will be another 500-600k as well, but it looks like brilong wants mtnduey's place

I'll admit I have been watching the auctions on eBay for GTX 970's. :D

Damn so you are the one that has been snatching up all of my good deals.

I guess I should have never told you hopefully you will get done soon so I can get my hands on a few of them. Apparently you are not as cheap as I am. :D

Make your own......

he he he....... I'm a nuclear operator.....

I dont know what I did to it really, I just know that I f'd something up hard, reboots took over 5 hours at teh spinny circle lol

These temps continue to stay low here in NC and I'll load my boxen back up. Should be good for ~800k ppd.

I bet you snatched up a 980 Ti. They look pretty sweet.

And to answer your previous question, I've not actually purchased anything from eBay yet. I've only watched a few auctions and looked at sold listings to understand how pricing is going. It appears GTCX 970's can be had for under $250, but I'm not sure. What's the best deal you've found so far?

$250 / free shiping for a evga 750 SSC but when I posted that link evga had B stock FTW 970 for 249.99 I figured you might be interested.

Actually no I thought about the Ti's really hard but I got another 980 Classified for $399 which is allot less than what I paid for my other 2 that makes #3 980 Classified, I figured I have 2 and I have never seen triple SLI before so what the hell you only live once. :D

Does EVGA refresh that page more than once per day? I see they added a couple of non-TI GTX 980's today but I believe the 970 is still the best PPD/$ even with B-Stock prices, right?

If you can get a 970 for less than $300 I'd call it the bang for the buck winner.

Yes they do but it varies from day to day. If you see something you want there you should get it. when you see it. I have found that it may not be there a few minutes latter.

Great job everyone!
This thread reminds me of the old days when everyone worked together.

I hope to see more like these and can't wait to ramp up the rest of my gear to help out!

I'm definitely interested but I've not seen 970's on the B-stock list in a few days. If you see more and don't need them, send me a PM. :D Considering they're offering them with a 1-yr warranty for the same price as used cards on eBay, I imagine they're a great deal.

Jeez you guys make me envious with ur prices. Best deal on a 970 up North here is an EVGA SSC for $409 Cdn. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger tomorrow just to slow MGMcCalley's approach so it doesn't hurt as much when he mows me over.

Too bad they didn't integrate F@H into their testing.

BTW, I picked up a B-stock EVGA GTX 970 over the weekend. Hoping it lives up to the hype. :)

My factory overclocked 970 averages around 300k ppd. Not too shabby.

I can not keep up with you as it is. :( But I keep trying :D

Mine is just a little behind yours I am getting about 290k avg

I didn't take note of the precise WUs but some really tank the GPU PPD. I went from a 290k average to 220-240k with some of the WUs.

Anyone know what 980s get?

Between 340k and 440k depending on the WU's most of the ones recently have been between 370k to 390k with a few in the 400+ range. That is on a Evga Classified running at 1490Mhz range

But you need to be careful with the OC some of the new core 21 WU's will not tolerate OC cards very well if at all. :( At least on Linux the OC cards seem to do fine on Windows with the core 21.

I started folding with a GTX 780Ti (stock clocks).

My first WU got pushed a few hours ago (13.5k PPD).

I guess there aren't any bonus PPD points for the first few WUs, it took around 10 hours to fold with Core_18.

I've folded under other names before, but we'll see how much I can contribute to the [H]orde!

Welcome berserk

Yeah it takes 10 WU's completed successfully on your passkey to start getting the bonus points. A fast way to get those 10 completed WU's is to fold 10 smp WU's they usually go pretty fast depending on your CPU, with an 8 core you can usually get the 10 in a day or 2.

If you did not get a passkey you need to go here http://folding.stanford.edu/home/faq/faq-passkey/#ntoc3 and get one. The passkey is tied to you. You can use any user name or team you want with it once you get the 10 WU's completed you will start receiving bonus points as long as you stay above a 80% successful completion rate.

I have heard some people say when you switch names or teams you need to requalify the 10 WU's but I have never had to requalify when I have done it in the past. Just don't loose the passkey.
