NVIDIA sends word that the brand new GeForce Game Ready 358.50 WHQL certified driver is available for download. All you GeForce owners out there that are playing Star Wars Battlefront Open Beta should probably grab these drivers and give them a go.

The new GeForce Game Ready 358.50 WHQL drivers for the Star Wars Battlefront Open Beta are now available to download from GeForce Experience and GeForce.com. With Game Ready optimizations for EA and DICE's highly-anticipated Star Wars Battlefront Open Beta, our new drivers will give up the best possible experience when blasting Rebel scum.

driver release for a beta, much respect to nvidia and their timeliness.

Hopefully this FINALLY fixes the Windows 10 driver crashing when waking from sleep mode. Keeping my fingers crossed.

As much shit as people give AMD about their drivers, I've never had as much headache as I have with nVidia since going to Windows 10. It's been a shit show

Still waiting for Windows 10 Fermi + Kepler/Maxwell mixing support...it's the last driver preventing me from upgrading.

Geforce.com is missing the WIn 7 64 bit download. Found it on nVidia main site.

358.50 - Win 7 x64

The 64-bit driver for W7 are packaged with 8 and Vista. Searching for the Windows 8 driver on GeForce.com will give you the right driver. Notice that the download ID from your link and mine are both the same when my result is from searching for 8.1 64-bit (92212).

Still no real updates other than improved support for SW:B. Guess will see the "Fallout 4" drivers next.

They are not fixing anything lately guys. They are only releasing game support drivers. Win10 has been out for well over 2 months now and still the same old problems and bugs are there, particularly for those of us with surround. It's beta at best. I actually went back to win7 a month ago due to it. I still boot into win10 to mess around but the same old problems are still there over 2 months later.

I'm holding off on windows 10 as well, do they still have issues with SLI performance? I'll stick with windows 7 awhile longer if the bugs are still there. What's with no SLI profile for SW:B, i know its a beta but frostbite engine works pretty well with SLI as far as the battlefield games go.

These have gsync framerate problems in fullscreen/windowed (half frame rate) till I turn it off.

does this occur only in borderless windowed mode? or are you saying it also occurs when playing in the standard 'fullscreen' mode as well?

I know they're calling it "WHQL certified", but that really makes no difference with the kind of junk and limited testing WHQL involves...

This is a beta driver... fixes a few problems and leaves a ton of more (hopefully not new ones).

I feel like windows is the culprit of the driver issues in 10.

Ive used nvidia for almost 15 years now because of awesome driver support. I somehow doubt it just suddenly went down the drain.

These drivers in the release notes say gsync its broke in windowed mode already (WTF??). But in fullscreen mode you will also lose about 40% performance with gsync on also.

If that's the case then they're a no-go for me.

This same bullshit happened with Nvidia during the first year of Windows Vista. It isn't new. Everyone blamed MS for Vista's issues, yet years later it was determined that a majority of the issues were with Nvidia and AMD growing pains programming for the new driver model.

You guys realize you didn't HAVE to immediately upgrade to Windows 10, right?

Both AMD and NVIDIA are having Windows 10 issues. I am waiting a few more months until this is all sorted out. No need for DX12 / Windows 10 just yet.

I will be upgrading to Windows 10 one day before the free upgrade expires, and not a second sooner.

Seriously. Where's the fire? Not like any DX12 games worth a damn will be out before the next Deus Ex in 2016.

Hooooly shit I thought it was just me, as I couldn't find anyone else with the problem.

G-Sync is just flat-out broken for me in several games and non-3D applications. I mean in Android Studio I'll get like 2 FPS sometimes and the only solution was to disable G-Sync.

Yeah, I have run into a couple things where the screen only updated like 2-3 times a second when g-sync was enabled. I want to say it was a program installer (not a 3D app). That was Win8.1 x64 btw.

I've had no problems with Windows 10. Using a Crossfire 6970 setup or a GTX 970 SLI setup.

For those of you using GSync, simply disable vsync in the control panel and make sure that GSync is set to full screen only. You'll get all of your performance back.

beep boop

I've been closely following DX12 performance, specifically Ashes of the Singularity, and I noticed a ~8-10% increase in performance in the DX12 version at 4k on my 980ti

Average scores for me were 39.5-40.5 at 4k High, no AA.

After the new driver, I'm getting 43.5-44.0 at the same settings.

Not surprising, I've been waiting for Nvidia to drop a driver that improved performance. The controversy surrounding it was pretty notable.

Anyone else able to corroborate these performance gains?

WTF? What is Nvidia doing?

Used Win 10 in our last Crossfire and SLI review.

I played 4 hours of Dragon Age Inquisition on these last night with my 980 Ti running GSYNC on an ASUS ROG Swift, no issues. Game ran flawlessly. This was in Windows 8.1 x64 though.

Yeah.. had to revert these since gsync and borderless window are broken..

With the 355.98 drivers battlefront runs well in sli though, pretty much constant 144fps at max settings @ 1440p, gpus don't seem very stressed out since at 99% usage they are running at only 72ºc~

I'm not getting all three cards working at all with these new drivers. Only one card. So I'm guessing SLI isnt working with this driver?

Just read over on the Nvidia forums, apparently you have to get the updated profile from geforce experience. I don't use GFE and don't want to install it just for a profile. Ugh.

Installed GFE updated the profile then uninstalled GFE lol. SLI is working now and working well in battlefront. Game maxed out runs great.

I've always left GFE installed. I like ShadowPlay and it never annoys me, I honestly never even realize I have it installed. Not sure why you would remove it unless you are just being anal about system processes :p

Being anal about about system processes. You pegged me on that one. :p

I hear the 356.04 developer drivers are the best ones Nvidia has released in some time but unfortunately these 358.50 ones are from a different branch

I played Star wars a little this morning on the previous drivers...No issues at all and SLI scaling was in the 90's

Installed these frekkin drivers and my second card hovers at 7-10% WTF seriously???????? Optimized drivers for Battlefront?

Then remove the GE files from startup.
You can still run and update GE when needed.

Not rocket science...not even advanced IT...simple procedure.

You are making an issue out of a non-issue...but then again...the problems and headaches are yours (by your own doing)...so only one to point the finger at.

This version, and the last few versions, have been giving me the nvidia crash / stopped responding error on Windows 10.
