ACX cooler vs. traditional blower for SLi?

Which of these will keep that top card cooler?
I'm not a fan of the ACX coolers not exhausting all of their heat, but I know, all else being equal, they could cool better.
I also know nVs latest blowers are very well done. Quiet, fairly cool vs. blowers of ol'.

In reality, how do these differ in temp in the tight confines of a 2-card SLi config? Anybody have experience with BOTH configs?

I have 2 x EVGA GTX 980 SC with ACX 2.0 coolers in SLI on an Asus Maximus VII Hero mobo in a Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Series case. GPU temp is not an issue. Neither is noise (unless you invoke the EVGA Precision software fan cycle, in which case it sounds like an F-18 preparing to launch). Full tilt BF4 in SLI is not an issue, either.

GTX 980 uses about 75W less power than the 980Ti so it's a completely different animal than the 980 Ti.

just mounted the cards the two GTX980Ti ACX 2.0,
with my modest airflow,
2x120mm mounted on the H80i GT AIO as exhaust,
a 140mm fan as intake,
temperature increased by only 3°c over my old GTX980 SLI reference cooler (blower)

really really better than I tought.
